Ahah i remember getting jumpscared by Orihime's entrance there too. Just so you know in case you didn't realize this yet, but Kubo is a man who clearly loves bigger chests, that's the only reason why we got this entrance and this outfit for Orihime, there's literally no other reasons since it's not necessary at all. Kubo also stated that drawing larger breasts was difficult, but i'm sure we can all agree that this didn't stop him at all, i mean, look at that one Sternritter girl with the lightning powers, look at true form Neliel, Rangiku, Yoruichi, and even that one girl from the Fullbringer Arc named Jackie... And that's just naming a few. It's difficult, the man claims, but it's not hindering him at all, why do you think ? The answer is simple : kinky levels of passion. I see you Kubo, you can't hide... not that he is trying anyway, and i kind of respect that about him, but that shot with Orihime's entrance and outfit in this episode really sold him out super blatantly and i always find it pretty funny.

A few notes ya'll. Regarding Yachiru, the answer was already teased to you last episode but not everyone will get it because it was revealed in such an ambiguous and nuanced way. You guys were discussing Kenpachi and Unohana's name and I was like "Oh no they didn't get it" lol But I hope in a future episode that answer will be clarified more directly. Getsuga Juujisho gets it's name from the cross shaped getsuga Ichigo draws which looks like "Juu" the number 10 kana. Schrifts revealed in this episodes: G - The Glutton P - The Power Z - The Zombie T - The Thunder Meninas is the pink-haired girl that knocked out Rukia in the first invasion with her powerful punch. "Special War Powers" are used now for some reason but it's the same as saying the "5 Special War Threats" term used in cour 1. Yuha Bach already named 3 of the 5 special war threats: Ichigo, Kenpachi and Aizen. He also mocked Yamamoto after his death and explained to him why he didn't consider him one of the 5 threats. At this point the last 2 war threats have not been mentioned yet.

The quincy girls are so peak and based, im a simp for all of them did you guys change where ur watching from? i assume not but the subtitles are so bad this episode lol feels ai generated almost. whoever did them took so much liberty with the names, the only one they translated accurately was ishida's licht regen at the end, every other ability/move used was really poorly translated and the dialogue between the girls didnt flow well either it sounded so rigid. awesome reaction as always!

I was never distracted by her outfit, tho. Even when reading the manga ongoing back then. Am I the only one who thinks that people overreacted? Like nobody cared about Rangiku, Loly, Yoruichi, Lillynette, Tres Bestia, Harribel and Riruka and suddenly everyone is making fuss over Orihime?

I did say "And that's just naming a few" though, you can't expect me to do a full list of every large chests in the series. But, yes, you're right about Harribel, among many others.

I think it's because so far, Orihime never wore anything that revealing (as much as i can remember anyway, and not counting anime fillers as well), and it seems quite out of her character to be dressed like this if i had to guess a reason why it surprised people so much.

It's neither overreacting or underreacting. I think it's appropriately understandable reaction. I'll break it down to you psychologically. Orihime's chest wasn't that big in OG. In fact, she started pretty flat in the beginning. She also never had cleavage. This episode debuts cleavage along with her fullbringer arc sized chest and a new outfit that isn't her traditional style. Naturally, this would gain a reaction out of surprise for how different it is being Orihime all of a sudden. That is why as you said "suddenly" everyone is fussing over it.

Maybe in the Substitute arc her chest was flat, but starting from Soul Society arc it grew and The Lost Agent arc Orihime already had a big chest. I guess, you're right. It's because Orihime never showed her cleavage people are reacting like that. Imho, I didn't care about her outfit so much because I already saw Harribel so there's nothing surprising for me.

I checked the manga, and we did see her cleavage in the first arc. When she fought that Octopus Hollow and, for the first time, awakened her powers. In SS arc, we did see her bouncing animation when she and Uryu decided to dress up as Soul Reapers. Loly tore off her Arrancars Saga outfit to show naked shoulders. In the Lost Agent arc, we also got boobs.... Imho, it's just another Orihime hate or discrimination. Like Rangiku, Nel, Yoruichi or any other girl is fine, but not Orihime.

In our earlier Bleach episodes, you can see the subtitles appearing at the most random times lol We had to stop using them.

its all good. i think it was just a one episode thing, cause the subs done in your ep.22 reaction were good. plus even if i were to recommend, it would be a 3rd party streaming site rather than paid options and i figure you guys wouldn't be interested in that. the golden rule is that fansubs are generally always better cause its a product of love rather than labor but i've only seen a few reactors out of dozens that're open to that (and for understandable reasons).
