FIRST OF ALL… in a manner*

Soulrebel0902

Cour 3 coming up soon!!! The last cour is in July. You guys made a very good pace.

Correction the Auswahallen takes what is needed life and power, so the Soldat died because they didn't have much power to give, while Sternritter i'm pretty sure only lost a good chunk of their power

It was mentioned by Urahara during his talk with Aizen, that the Soul King is the "key stone".

Askin power is basicly like alergy. He can lower your tolerance to any particular substance he comes in contact with. In this case blood. He lowered his bodys tolerance to blood to where he must bleed out so much blood thst he dies of blood loss before it no longer toxic to him

You left off a zero on the miles, but it's actually closer to 2,440 miles. Still a very far distance to travel.

as i said before, they need to go back and watch episode 16 end credits, of "That Thing" issue.

Askin's power in a word is toxicity - any substance he consumes or is affected by he can adjust the "lethal" dosage of it BUT in order for this ability to work, he needs to be exposed to a large amount of the substance. In his fight against Oetsu he drinks his own blood and uses that to adjust the amount of "blood" someone needs in them to die from it. As another example, say someone injects Askin with a poison — if he gets enough of it in his system, he could then adjust the lethal dosage of of poison required to kill him, effectively making him immune to the poison itself. The reason he has to do math on Oetsu is because the amount of blood in someone's body differs depends on their weight. A baby who weighs 10 pounds is not going to have the same amount of blood in their body as someone who weighs 100 pounds. He basically did quick math to say "okay if you weigh about 130 pounds (~60kg) and blood has a volume of like 60ml, then if I set the leth amount to 1.4 (more than half the blood in your body) then you'll die before you can get all the blood out." In my opinion it's a really neat power because it requires actual knowledge of certain things to use effectively. He could've chosen water, blood, iron, literally anything that he wants, so long as he himself can consume enough of it to activate his power.

Simply put, Askin's "Death Dealing" allows him to control how much of a substance it would take to kill you. I'm sure you've read the back of a medicine bottle and seen its "lethal dose" (essentially, the amount of it that would kill you.) That's why we have overdose warnings. Lethal dosages exist for anything, even water (drinking too much water will kill you). The Death Dealing allows Askin to change that amount at will for ANY substance. In Nimaiya's case, he lowered the lethal dosage of the blood in his body, meaning that Nimaiya had TOO MUCH blood in his body and was slowly being killed because of that. That's why Nimaiya started bleeding himself out, to get back under the lethal dosage. It's not limited to blood, he can control the dosages of things like oxygen, even spiritual pressure. It's a crazy powerful ability.

A few notes ya'll: Kisuke's character has always been one to hold up the status quo. He has always been a big-picture thinker, constant strategist who will do whatever it takes even if it means putting his feelings aside to go to the extremes in order to save the world and maintain peace in the Soul Society. It's not that he doesn't care about Ichigo and friends, but he is like-minded with characters like Kyouraku and Yamamoto, sometimes making hard decisions that he would initially try to avoid if he could but if he had to, would ultimately do it. I don't think he intentionally let Ichigo and friends go on ahead and send them to their deaths, I think it's more of him being strategically balanced and quick-thinking, because he also trusts that Ichigo will be ok. Hiyori on the other hand, is more down to earth human, who cares about her friends and wouldn't be so quick to throw her friends in danger, These two are fundamentally different and that is why she said that "for the sake of seireitei thing, I always hated that about you." "lethal" means deadly/fatal and "dosage" is the amount that is contained and given. In layman's terms, Askin has the power to decide what amount of any given substance will kill you. In this case, he decided that this specific low amount of blood will be able to kill Oetsu. I'll use another example: Lets say the average person has 60% of water in their body. If Askin wanted to, he could decide the lethal dosage is 10%. In other words, if you have 60% of water in your body, you are 50% past the lethal dosage because you have more than 10% and you would die. In this episode, the lethal dosage of blood was set low for Oetsu, so when he cut his neck and started draining his blood, he was either gonna drain most of his blood and die of blood loss, or die by keeping too much blood in. Either way he would've died if it wasn't for Tenjiro's oh so convenient plot armor....oops I mean blood pond water.
