Based on this episode, we can now understand why Yhwach was laughing in ep 7 of TYBW just before Sasakibe landed a sneak attack. In ep 24 of TYBW, Ichibei sealed the Almighty during his visit to negotiate with Yhwach. Ichibei also told Yhwach that he would not awaken that power until the day he dies. Yhwach must have seen a future where he "dies" against Yamamoto and takes 1000 years to revive himself, and get to the point that he has reached right now. This makes further sense when you factor in Ichibei using Futen Taisatso Ryo in this episode. Ichibe was going to eradicate Yhwach and forcibly take him away from the cycle of rebirth so that he would not return again.

A lot going on in this episode, but one thing we see here is why Aizen called the Soul King "That thing" when he was getting sealed by Urahara. As we see the Soul King is not an active deity in the world , but a mutilated being in a crystal that somehow holds all the worlds together (how will be explained later). That is why he is also called the keystone. We also see that Ichibei is not a normal Soul Reaper considering he can come back to life when you say his name, lol, and is able to steal 100 nights from Soul Society in the future, essentially taking all the black from them to power up his attack. An attack so powerful it bypasses even the regular circle of life and death.

Yhwach didn’t say that he can’t kill aizen, he said it will take too long

Daniel

Uryu pulled the itachi genjutsu reversal🤣

"The Almighty" Damn that's perfect power to have as someone that is "The God" of people he created out of his image. 👀 Besides he also looks like Jesus Christ who is the Son of God. And yes Ywh is the son of the Soul King. All too close to home. But it fits too well

MyRedQueen

The Almighty is so broken. It allows him to see the future on top of that anything he sees is rendered completely useless as he can counter anything he has the knowledge of. To think this becomes more OP later... 🤯

WhichHunter

Remember back in OG Bleach when Ichigo first meets Old Man Zangetsu, he says his name but it's blacked out. That was Ichibes power otherwise Ichigo would have heard Yhwach

AcedOnez
