Poor bazz b he never had a chance

To me Jugram never had the real purpose until Quincy king gave him one, before he was just there for Bazz-B. Also pay attention to 2:33.

This relationship is incredibly complex and layered to me. First, we have Bazz-B, whose family was massacred by Yhwach, and Jugram, who was “saved” by him. Jugram and Bazz-B were friends, but their bond was somewhat superficial, as Bazz-B never truly tried to understand Jugram. Instead, he constantly assumed things about him. For example, Bazz-B kept calling him “Jugo” even though Jugram explicitly asked him not to, since that was what his uncle used to call him. Another instance is when Bazz-B claimed that neither of them had truly agreed on killing Yhwach, they had simply gone along with it. Jugram, in many ways, lacks a personal agenda. His uncle used to tell him that he could do nothing without him, and even if it wasn’t meant maliciously, Bazz-B ended up treating him in a similar way. That’s why Bazz-B’s gaze hurt Jugram so deeply: he realized that Bazz-B never saw him as an equal, but rather as someone beneath him, someone who needed him. In contrast, when Yhwach told Jugram that he needed him, Jugram gave in. In his mind, as long as he fulfilled his role as Yhwach’s other half, he could retain a sense of control over his own existence. I’m not saying that killing Bazz-B was justified, but their friendship, though genuine, was filled with miscommunication and misunderstanding. I think Bazz-B eventually realized this, which is why he insisted on fighting no matter the cost. He likely knew he would lose, but perhaps he believed that, through that confrontation, they might finally understand each other. I also agree that this relationship is meant to mirror the dynamic between Ichigo and Uryu, perhaps even Uryu’s relationship with all of his friends.

Also according to this episode Ywach give powers then take it back to grow its own. Meaning he HAS to to kill people. Which is why (if you remember) Jugram told Uryu that something would happen to Ywach if he stops consuming souls. Ywach was attacking quincies to unify the Quincies of the Licht Reich under his banner. Meaning back in the days the quincies were not united. It's also implied/Theorized that Jugram's uncle was s*xually abusing him.

jugo really sided with anyone who would glaze him lol but i get it, it's def bc of what happened with his uncle. but tbh it's wild how jugo didnt see yhwach's treatment of those villages as evil in a way similar to his uncle but on a larger scale... like i thought he'd also hate yhwach/fear him and be more resistant to serve him

Since we are getting to the end I'm here as promised to remind you that episode 228 is the beach episode

Jugram never gave any indication that Yhwach's validation gave him satisfaction. Bazz-b was already thinking about leaving Jugram when Jugram wasn't gaining powers and only training with his sword. I also disagree with the notion that Jugram wanted to go with whoever gave him validation because when he was selected he indirectly said no by saying Bazz-b had more potential and he should be picked. He also asked Bazz-B what he should do, so he was still clearly on Bazz-B's side but Bazz-B felt inferior so he gave him a angry stare. So I completely agree with Jugram. He always had Bazz-B's back. Jugram also never wanted to fight Bazz-B, where as Bazz-B continuously challenged him over and over.

The worst thing Bazz-B could do was assume things about Jugo. All he had to do was ask, and he never did; he just always assumed Jugo wanted the same thing, And everyone in Bazz-B's town was a Quincy or knew all about them because there would be no reason for Hubert to make the Stern Ritter announcement to everyone in the town. Jugo does eventually learn some way to absorb reishi because remember when he was behind the barrier that Nanao created, he was absorbing reishi from his side in order to weaken the barrier. Also, this whole backstory raises a few questions: 1) Why the hell do the Quincies have guns? This is at least 1000 years ago, so it's around the year 1000. How did they even know to manifest those kinds of weapons? The Almighty? That would be hilarious, Yhwach being like, "Let me tell you about these things called guns." 2) How long did it take for Yhwach to find all the quincies, because this is somewhere in Europe, and quincies are all over the planet. 3) Were a select few Sternritter ordered to stay behind? Clearly, Jugo and Bazz weren't in the first war with the SS because everyone else that we saw (not sure about the woman) got their ass burned to death by Yamamoto.

Idk why but for me Jugram and Bazz felt like the opposite of Ichigo and Uryu for me. Ichigo is known to always have the upper hand in strength, but for Bazz B and Jugram it felt similar yet different. Bazz B and Ichigo have similar personalities while Uryu and Jugram are alike but this time Jugram (Uryu) is stronger in this case. Idk if that makes sense to y'all lmao
