What are your thoughts on Uryu's decision to tackle the mission alone?

We are excited watch Bleach TYBW along with everyone in the summer! We are going to back to watch the Zanpakuto Arc. Are there any other Bleach suggestions or Bleach movies we should check out?

No matter the reason for Uryu's decision, the fact remains that he didn't trust his friends. That's why I din't like his role in TYBW.

I think yall should watch all 4 Bleach movies in order. Then Zanpaktou Arc for sure and the Reigai Arc as well

Small note. Notice how the captain class visored don't have their captains robe. Then it shows Shinji removing his. Just shows the respect toward the Gotei 13 and the Soul Society

Yay! So glad you guys are all caught up now! The beach filler episode is 228 and called "Summer! Sea! Swimsuit Festival!!". Can't wait for more Bleach reactions!

Episode 40 art from Tite Kubo Giselle Gewelle (Gigi) and Liltotto Lamperd (Lil) https://x.com/tite_official/status/1873032409723363695 Fun facts: Auswahlen scene, Ichigo vs Uryu skirmish, and old quincy royal guards tidbit are all anime exclusives. Cour 4 is the final part of TYBW. There's about 20 chapters left in the manga at this point in the story, which would be around 5-6 episodes and each cour is 13 episodes. That means there's about 7 episodes of 100% pure anime exclusive episodes that manga readers won't know. So cour 4 is a huge huge deal!

Hell Verse, the film, is not canon, but it's still interesting, and the animation is of course film quality.

I mean him telling them would've done nothing — and the reason WHY he doesn't tell them makes sense because of what he knows and what they don't know. Telling them wouldn't do anything to help because in his eyes, they CAN'T do anything to help him. I think it's perfectly in character for him to do because that's who he is; where Ichigo tries to solve everyone's problems, Ishida is very much a "I will solve my own problems on my own" kind of person. I feel as though he and his dad are alike in that way - you can even see it in the way Ryuken handled the situation with Masaki. If Ryuken told his mother about everything right away, it would've gone completely differently I'm sure but instead he's tries to deal with it alone and look what happens.

Also they did the "wasted" part after the ending because technically each part supposed to have 13 episodes and this one was ep 14. They gave half of the episode here because first ep of this part was half recap, so everything shifted. As Askin said, they had to fill the time somehow xd

And remember back when Uryu asked Yhwach why he chose him as his successor, and then Y.H. asked Uryu why he survived Auswählen? And Ichigo's mom only died because she lost her powers and couldn't defend herself. She was basically like Bazz-B and Lilloto; they were strong enough to survive it. And Ichigo had no powers when his mom died, other than high spiritual pressure, so he could see spirits; he had no Quincy powers to take at that point. Uryuu was already a Quincy in training by that point and had activated his powers. I'd love to know about Soken's time in the Wandenreich. I suspect the only reason he was banished rather than killed outright was that Yhwach was out of commission. Ryuken also implies that his dad liked to steal stuff...lol. Regarding Kira's injuries, Shunsui's fight showed us that the more spiritual pressure you have, the harder it is for you to die from serious injuries. Chances are, Kira survived long enough for Mayuri to do something.

The fact Uryu kept ignoring Hachwalth about "i can see the future" and what that ultimatley means is one more reason why he's the biggest fucking moron in Bleach. If he had worked with Ichgo from the start, didn't kill one of the royal guards or help Ywach they could have killed him long before this. It will always be my hope that Ishida dies so that his stupidity dies with him. Ironic that his va also voices Sasuke...another dumbass.
