This goes for Silco and Jinx as well as Mel and Jayce. It's so easy to paint both situations with a broad stroke without understanding the depths of a persons heart. Silco see's himself in Jinx, as she struggles with her issues with fear and past sibling relationships so did he with his to Vander. Mel is extremely complex as well, easy to misinterpret her true feelings and intent.
