some terms used in this episode - XBD/BD : A virtual experience that allows the user to relive someone else's memory, including their thoughts, emotions, and pain. - Choom: "bro" or "bud." - Chrome: Another word for cyberware. Can also be used as a verb, to describe the action of receiving cybernetic implants. - Corpo: A word for a corporate employee - Eddies: Short for Eurodollars, primary currency - Preem: Derived from the word premium, this casual term means "cool" or "dope. - Trauma: heavily-armed squad of medical first responders. Trauma Team clients may be referred to by the type of insurance they've purchased. Those with the most expensive package are guaranteed better service than those with lower packages. - Cyberpsychosis: Brain overload/malfunction caused by too much cyberware implants

This won a poll?

Peak Cyberpunk’s world is one of those dystopian settings that hits close to home.

BaMi Desu

Cool choice for a series. It is based and takes place in the universe of the homonymus game Cyberpunk 2077, so thats why you might not get most of the ''slang terms'' used, but you will pick it up as the series progresses and you get a better understanding of the world etc.

Declan Palmer

almost everyone agrees this is one you should watch dubbed, its set in america afterall

Greybeard

I despise all dubs, but I agree with the others here that this is the only one I would recommend. Even though the amazing Aoi Yuki voices Lucy in the Japanese version.

David Romero

Yeah, they should at least compare both, then choose

Kytoryu

Japanese is always better for anime, the emotions just are not the same with dub

Goten

Cyberpunk edgerunners takes place in the year 2076 I believe. It’s supposed to be a future where this dystopian world is run by corporations.

penske

oof i got my patron for this and its in sub. i should've looked into it more. it takes me out in sub completely. thats on me tho. hope yall eventually see it in dub.

Astor Lefflinker

Subscribed for this. Couldn't contain the hype after the season 2 trailer. Been excited for you two to react to this for a while though. Good catch spotting that the mom stole the cyberware from the guy at the beginning and that what David was watching actually happened. I really like that you two go back and analyze the scenes.

Mahti

Generally agree but with this anime both are just as good
