This arc is filler but the Toshiro flashback exists in the manga

Hielo Kasama

Toshiro got his bankai before he even graduated at the academy.

"The Forest of Menos (Menosu no Mori) is an underground region located beneath the desert sands of Hueco Mundo in the Bleach franchise. Although it appears in the anime as a filler arc (episodes 147 to 149), the concept is considered semi-canonical. The creator of the series, Tite Kubo, planned to include this part in the original manga but discarded the idea at the time due to a lack of time and tight deadlines."

29:07 I think that define Bleach in general, is not only fighting its a deeply philosophical series, specially for a shonen

Ok keep telling yourself that Momo lol

Absolutely, as filler doesn't always strictly mean non-canon. Many filler episodes contain canon material. Unfortunately people use the term "filler episode" and "non-canon episode" interchangeably when they're not the same.
