Shanks timeeee?! Damn the discussion I love it! Shanks knock off is crazy hahaha

Cindy Baker

Lol shanks knock off. Devi’s hair looks cute. 4 episodes left of elbaf part 1. I’ve heard conflicting news of whether it will continue or not. A news outlet said all 26 episodes will air continuously Weekly one piece can be tough at times, thanks for sticking with us thus far

It was never stated that the ability that Saturn used was part of his Devil Fruit. It looked more like a summoning ritual. Why it looked like it's more specific to Saturn is because he was physically located in egghead. If you see when Joyboy's haki was released, it was only the elders who were summoned that returned to Marijoa, whereas Staurn was left out, as he physically came to egghead. Also, if you remember when Brook was sent to an Island during the time skip, the people were trying to use a similar technique to summon the devil. Now, the question that might arise is, then, who has summoned these two to Elbaf? That is something that will be explained in future episodes.

Dasha

devi I love your new haircut

Duelzz

Thanks for the fun discussion at the end!

Dasha

I just noticed 70+ minute outro???? you guys are the goats it's insane

Dave Wu

Is that Shanks? Is that NOT Shanks? 🤨🤨🤨 So much to speculate. A first taste of Elbaph for you guys. It’s about to get crazy.

Dasha

I just want to take a minute to say how much I appreciate you guys. I follow a lot of reactors and you’re the only ones I’ve seen who take this much time to actually analyze the episodes. I can feel that you’re invested in the story and not just reacting to it for content, but because you are having so much fun with it. Your GoT, CSM, and Apothecary Diaries reactions were also goated. It’s just nice seeing two people who clearly take pride and joy in their work and try to get the most out of whatever they’re watching. Like I wouldn’t even say this episode was super lore-heavy, but there were some crumbs, and you still took the time to break them down and think about them. I still have an hour of this drop left to watch, but I just wanted to say that you’re amazing

_kags

couldn't agree more, their discussions are so fun

Song

The God's Knight is not above the Five Elders, because Garling is the Supreme Commander of the God's Knight. And now he is promoted to an Elder. Btw is it just me? but if you listen carefully to Mosa/Shaggy, the way they talk is kinda familiar

Filip_0205

do you want to write a whole Bible verse of this arc ,or?

Alpasha Shasha

Are you guys gonna react to Toei latest video teaser for elbaph? Interesting..

Alpasha Shasha

The lore's drops on Elbaph arc is unbeatable peak anw :)

Martin Zou

That trailer is full of Spoilers lmfao

Alpasha Shasha

Well you 100% right hahaha sorry then, but I thought its gonna be so cool and fun to get reacted. Why Toei dropped it then.. ahhaah

Maj

As an anime only I'm 1000% convinced it's Shanks, who else looks like that??? Also Jackie, you say it was so long ago that Shanks met with the elders, but I'm pretty sure he met with them as the Reverie was starting, so in terms of actual time that's passed it's only been a few weeks roughly. When he met with the elders back in ep 887 he said something like "I want to talk to you about a certain pirate" I thought it was too obvious for that pirate to be luffy so I assumed he wanted to talk about blackbeard instead. But now I'm positive it was about luffy, too many dots are connecting that man is a government psyop!!! EDIT: Oh my days I just went back and watched 887, he has the exact same pose with his hood up at the end of that episode like he does in this episode 🤷🏾‍♂️🤷🏾‍♂️ Double edit: Looks you guys had the same idea to rewatch that ep LMAO, not sure if I'm bought in on the twin theory hahaha

M9

great reaction as always , that was a really juicy discussion. And I noticed with each episode that the color scheme for the giants is way too colorful lol ; I wish the colors were more suitable for the Elbaf theme, but whatever.

Filip_0205

robin found them ,but first she found crocodile...☠️

Meliodas Sama

I NEED TO MARRY RIPLEY 🤍😈🤪

Natacha

Great discussion guys as always 🫶🏻 Shaggy’s way of talking actually made me think of Shirahoshi. So for me that "scary experience" could be her being kidnapped by the celestial dragon back at the Reverie and so his reaction saying he would kill everyone is reasonable. And then Shaggy saying « please don’t raise your voice » is the same way Shirahoshi said it to Luffy when they met and luffy yelled at her. That’s my theory 🤓

Meliodas Sama

THIS IS MY OPINION Honestly I’ve always thought that Shanks was shady I mean we’ve never seen him make any moves and he’s partying whenever they show him and he’s BEEN A YONKO FROM THE BEGINNING SINCE WE’VE KNOWN HIM Shanks has no feats anime wise besides his Haki bullying of Greenbull and offing Usless D Mid and his crew. Shanks even stooped the war at Marineford and SENGOKU SAID “ I’D ALLOW IT ONLY BECAUSE ITS YOU”. IF HE IS A CELESTIAL DRAGON HE IS A LYING ASS PIECE OF TRASH STRONGER THAN DOFLAMINGO ALSO HOW THE HELL DOES HE GET A MEETING WITH THE GOROSEI THE PEOPLE WHO WERE INTRODUCED AS THE WORLDS STRONGEST AUTHORITY

Levy

It seems way too obvious to suspect Shanks which could be the intention here. Not saying Shanks is innocent or anything but I feel like these are just new characters yet to be introduced. I'm going with a twin brother or family member.

_kags

I don't think the Holy Knights are higher than Elders considering we effectively saw Garling the leader of the Holy Knights get a promotion to Elder to replace Saturn as the God-head of Science/Defense recently. Narratively it wouldn't make sense as a demotion lol Elders were sent before the Holy Knights to Egghead because Imu was just that desperate lol, Vegapunk was dropping some potentially world-breaking lore and Imu had to stop him at all costs

Azola

I think we be careful about the scale of power when it comes to the Holy Knights. Whe Aokiji was introduced we were told that Admirals were the world government 'ultimate military force' so they maybe the strongest weapons the government possess. I think the government structure is like a monarch; with Imu-sama the king, the Gorosei, Imu's lackeys and runs the government in his/her stand and the Holy Knights as his blade. I take them as Imperial Guards or/and Kingsguard ,so they lower in the hierarchy compared to the Gorosei(5 Elders) but some may be stronger than them.

Azola

And Loki calls 'Shaggy' Mosa-kun the translation is shakky at best

JDanime

We don't watch the episode trailers and teasers :o

JDanime

Oh yeahhh we totally disregarded the promotion 🤣 That makes more sense.

JDanime

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave such a sweet comment Dasha 😭 It truly means a lot. The story is so well written and we love it so much. We want to make sure we understand it to the best of our abilities 💖 There are so many connecting plot lines and I know we'd be so lost/confused without these long post episode conversations 😂 It's also just fun to yap and talk about all the possibilities... So glad to hear you enjoy those parts

J M

he did not give any spoiler at all chill dude so hostile over nothing
