YAY WAITING FOR THE DAY I GET TO SEE NAMI's BACKSTORY WITH YOU GUYS

Lmao the pacing The line shading over zoro’s eyes at 1:05 is a key trademark of early toei one piece and the one piece manga. It’s terrific that they kept that. As music composer for this remake, we have none other than Yuki Hayashi who did OST for both MHA & Haikyu.

In a perfect world I would love to see this go even beyond the timeskip. If this somehow makes it all the way to Dressrosa that's literally everything I could ask for. That's the last arc imo that desperately needs a remake like this

LMAOOO DEVI COMING IN HOT W THE TOEI SLANDER I LOVE IT HAHAHAH i agree with what you guys said at the end though, the OG was honestly an excellent adaptation till the animation dropped off in dressrosa then picked up in wano onwards again (though the pacing is still not great lol)

Devi with the sucker punch hahahahha I love it

It all depends on viewership for netflix. Long running series typically lose 40-70% of their initial viewership, but if The one piece breaks out with 10-15mil netflix views, that would give netflix incentive to dig their feet in. I’m not sure how it will do, but what I am sure of, is that it will chart netflix for that time it releases.

i not only think they need to improve the pacing i think they need to improve fight choreography, modern anime fans are used to jjk and anime with fluid combat, zoro and sanji figths should all look like jjk fights

0:20 lol , i feel you Devi

Let's support it as much as we can and hope it gets that far! Live action has had great success. I have high hopes :D!

JDanime

Hahaha the anime obviously still had it's great moments <3

JDanime

True that's a big one.. Curious to see how they'd adjust the fight choreography while keeping OP uniqueness. Some of the goofy fighting is what adds to the earlier episodes imo 💖
