i love watching your reactions but you guys are taking roshis perviness too seriously with saying he was pure once but then he became corrupted, and how can yamcha stand by. This show was made in the 80s where this stuff was seen as lighthearted jokes and wasnt taken as seriously as we take it today thats why he always fails and looks very silly when he does. even middle schoolers were allowed to see this back then. And if you watch a little bit of other older shows you will see that even main characters are this pervy lol. So just FYI i wouldn't take offense and take this stuff seriously enough to make theories about. its just silly jokes.

I don't think it's particularly important, but when you skipped the filler in Episode 44 I think you missed the explanation for Bulma and Yamcha's fight. Essentially, Bulma is upset that Yamcha is popular with other girls (because they think he is good looking). I'm usually a manga reader so I'm not sure if you accidentally skipped over the scene or if it was changed and incorporated into the filler. But, Bulma is most likely just being petty.

Just because all the shitty perviness wasn't offensive back then doesn't make it cringe af now. What kind of take is this? Only ruins Roshi as a character. Same with Sanji. At least Oda has toned down Sanji's perviness considerably.

lol you completely missed my point, i was telling them not to take offense over it or make theories from it about the characters, because from the point of view of the people who lived back then this perviness was inserted into the show as silly and funny jokes that are not suppose to be taken seriousely so it doesnt matter what you feel about it, get as irritated about it as you like. It is just that the author intended for it to be just jokes, so Roshi is still considered a good character, even though he has this side because as i keep saying it is not meant to be taken seriously. If you get offended dont watch older shows.
