I know people say Luffy and everyone is the underworld should have felt Imu’s haki but Elbaph is humongous, like it’s 100x larger than any island in the world. It’s probably miles and miles between the sun and underworld. So I wouldn’t be surprised if the speed of Haki was much slower due to Imu being so far away from the underworld that it just now reached Luffy and Loki.

Brook no resistance is a saying! It has nothing to with Brook, the translators just poorly translated it and saw a chance to use this saying to screw with the viewers because Imu doesn’t say this in the manga, he says something similar, but not “Brook no resistance”.

"Brook" is a verb that means "tolerate", "allow". If you listen closely instead of focusing on the subtitles, you can hear that Imu doesn't say Brook's name in Japanese.

Didn't they know we have God Valley moving coming next year? lol The wait might be longer but we sure getting 12-13 eps before the movie because they can't fit that much content into a movie.. we have other things happening before we get to God Valley part so i assuming we back in April?

"Brook no resistance" just means "i will tolerate no resistance". Kind of strange for the translators to use this as the translation when it could easily cause such confusion with what happened last chapter. In their defense, Imu speaks in a very outdated/old-fashioned way in the original Japanese. In the manga (english) they made Imu speak Shakespearean english to reflect this. So using things like "thou", "speaketh", etc. Here, it seems like they went with a more modern version of that, just with some unusual/rare word choices like "Brook no resistance" and "Hold it aloft" and "this realm". I like this way more tbh.

It's a slightly outdated saying. "Brook" is a verb in that sentence. The sentence basically means "draw no quarter"/"don't let them fight back"

It was such a weird translation choice for them to use "brook" there lmao. Allow, tolerate, abide etc, there's several words but Toei went with brook for no reason. The manga says "All resistance must be quashed".

you don´t know whats about because the translations are completley different as in the manga. imu always speaks of themselves in third person as ´´mu´´. if u hear the japanese voice u can also hear it. but the sub ist just broke lol. in manga imu said ´´all resistance must be quashed´´

The subtitles aren't broken. The dialogue between the anime and manga is never perfectly 1:1. Sometimes Toei words things differently and adds stuff to stretch the episode.
