Jay rellim

are yall watching all the filler?

Balmung

I was worried about this filler, but then I looked it up and it's like 5 episodes. watching bleach and naruto had me scared about full filler arcs.(there are two other filler chunks, but they're also small) Now that I think about it, I don't know how far ahead you are, but are you planning on doing regular dbz or kai?(all things considered, I would recommend kai, if only because 124 more episodes that are either filler or canon, but horribly-paced kind of taints the experience) On that note, this is my opinion, but please stay away from any version that features the bruce faulconer soundtrack. My thoughts are that this soundtrack changes the whole vibe of the show into a sort of tacky, edgy mess.

GodUsopp

i think that kai vs z discussion is still some months away, i think theyll probably end up doing a poll for it, Ill be voting kai because its the definitive version of toriyamas vision

GodUsopp

Yeah they said they watched this filler arc already, its only 3 more episodes left so its fine, their reactions make even filler bearable for me

Hopefully sky dragon reaches his Final Atonement

BenKei

love these episodes :D

BenKei

skipping this filler episodes is a sin :D

I really like this episode because it’s really just a classic wuxia setup, which really fits Goku’s wandering the world training Roshi has him on. Always love when Dragon Ball has that martial arts focus. Also just helps that there’s actually some pretty cool fights in here

im scared for dbz, there is an english version with the original soundtrack?

Felipe Vieira

do you think is better than dbz? the original japanese soundtrack is legendary.

Balmung

Dbz kai uses the original ost, it seems. I grew up with the pt-pt version, which although the dub is awful, at least had the original music(not the OP). Originally it had a new OST but there was some drama and it went back to the original. The last arc DOES have a different soundtrack, though.
