Felix! And this will probably be the book 1 cover, with Erik's cover being book 2. A swap from my original plan, and I'll get into more details about that later.I've been a little slower than anticipated getting everything up off the ground. School's started and we've all been a little sick here and there as we adjust to new routines. At the same time, writing's been a ton of fun, and I'm super excited to share. There's been some minor hiccups with the opening chapters and how I introduce things, and after beta feedback, I'm pushing a number of chapters back quite a bit. Normally I'd have a solid drop ready by now, but since I'm shuffling things around and it's still THE START, I want to give everything enough time to cook and to actually have the right order for everything.One of the biggest changes is the focus shifting a bit. Instead of starting with both Erik and Felix, we're going to start with primarily Felix, which shifts things quite a bit. I had to rework the opening lines, and I'm going to need to give parts far more scruntiny that I was originally anticipating. Instead of 'introduction to the character' it's now 'introduction to the series', and that takes on a very different tone. The series introduction is now shuffled around, and.... yeah. It's going to take a bit of time to sort everything out.That being said, I've set myself a deadline to start posting Song by the end of the month. It might just be a few chapters, but it'll get started.
