Good morning!

I have been applying for a bunch of local events and art shows, and I put together a suuuper rough mockup of some merchandise I did last year. I thought I'd walk and talk through it!

Vinyl room banners! I was inspired by BronyCon's banners of old, where they would show all of the panel events and times on each respective room banner, and I created a template for BABSCon to use for their final few years. It was great! I'm glad people appreciated them. And the artwork our team did was phenomenal too; creating such a large piece of art for prominent areas of a venue is no easy task!

Engraved event badges. I always appreciate how collaborative our fandom feels, especially in contrast to any other convention space. Bronies are always looking to network in a non-competitive spirit. These badges were a collaboration between BABSCon and My Little Ties. He is a wonderful craftsman, always willing and curious to try new things. EverfreeNW liked our badges so much, they went off and made their own the following year!

Themed advertisements. Honestly, this was more of a last-minute addition: I had already made this piece of artwork as part of a 2018 commission, but by coincidence we would be hosting Yona's voice actress to MC a fighting match! I wanted to toss together a fun flier to draw a larger crowd, and the commissioner was gracious enough to grant me use of the artwork for this purpose :D

Custom hooded blankets. Ahhhhh these were great!! I love merchandise creation, it feels like I'm a mad scientist with toys. I created some for BABSCon's sponsor tiers..and then added a few customs on the side for a bridal party "uniform".

Custom patterned bathrobes. These are so fun tooooo. And cozy! And huge!! I need to make more in the future... Look how vibrant the colors came out!

Themed event badges. These aren't brand new or unique pieces of "merch", but it was fun organizing the badges these past few years. So much great artwork that is only given out to a fraction of convention attendees! I created a color scheme for the badges that would allow staff members to more easily identify different groups of attendees at a glance, and then the artists created or assembled existing artwork to fit within that color palette.

Whew! That was 2025. I'm going to go curl up in my bathrobe now. I hope you all have a wonderful day!
