Animal Crossing has taken my life yet again (Patreon)

One of my first video games was Animal Crossing: Wild World on the DS. I adore the game and how relaxing it is. Pocket Camp, the free app, just released, and this tiny world has taken my soul once again.

Doodling Animal Crossing is fun. One of the iconic art points of the game is that the world is so small, so the horizon is obscenely round. (#trigger warning for flat-earthers) This makes all the proportions tricky if you're trying to make them perfectly accurate, but it also gives you an excuse to go wild and cartoony. And AC has such pretty texture patterns that are so simple (and therapeutic!) to draw, from the tree trunks to the grass <3

Might make a poster out of this. For anyone interested in Animal Crossing, who are your favorite villagers?
