I stayed up late to animate (Patreon)

My go-to drawing program, FireAlpaca, works with animation.
I had known this, months and months ago. But in my head, there existed the preconceived notion that anything with animation must take 20+ frames of perfectly smooth movements, something that the normal hand can only dream of. And the idea of drawing something over and over again does not interest me in the slightest. This is why I've always avoided taking on too much "animation" work at once, as opposed to smaller things such as gifs.
So why then, did I just spend all night laughing my butt off and having a ball playing with these zillion frames of amateur animating?
I guess there's a nice kick of inspiration in the air tonight!
Above gif: Based on an adorable dance from the anime "Love is War". I really enjoyed playing with this, and honestly am looking forward to adding in her leg motions (the girl kicks up her legs in the dance, and it's adorableeee), and possibly making this a Twitch stream animation!
Completing animations are something else, though - it took me several hours to polish up this four-frame gif, and I'm sure there are tricks to be much more efficient than I was.
I made two other WIP gifs of this skunk lady, and I'll be posting more of her process in the next post!
