Howdy, all! What an insane month it has been. Between the current events stacking up in the midst of a global pandemic, family gatherings scheduled back-to-back, and my briefly babysitting a baby opossum, things are nonstop! What is time anymore?

Here are some pieces of work that I have completed lately!

Above: A birthday gift starring two friends' OCs, and my Fiesta in the middle! I think it's amusing to spot some hints of several art styles merging in this image.

I drew a Twilight in a more realistic/unusual style in my notebook, and as a cooldown I colored the girl in. I always respect the differences in tone a sketch has versus a lined piece: the raw potential against a finite representation. Honestly, I would love to see artists share more of their traditional/rough sketch pieces.

A traditional commission I had the pleasure of doing. I quite love this character, and I really have fun playing with book props. Is it bad to want to draw another library scene?

Another traditional commission! Textures are something I really want to spend a month or so practicing on with marker/ink/pencil. Crosshatching is the process of using horizontal and/or vertical lines to add shade or depth to an image; while it is simple in theory, I always learn something new!

A hilarious commission I got to draw. Furry meets horse; calamity ensues. I wonder how everyone else envisions the size differences between a typical MLP character and an anthropomorphic one?

See you in the next post!
