More JaNEWary pieces (Patreon)

I had such a wonderful time with these Copics. I began with three types of a cool grey color, and one icy blue.

Above: My favorite marker piece so far :) Scootaloo visits the Batu Caves, and has a selfie taken with a long-tailed macaque and a chill rooster. The way the marker ink bled on the camera, the rooster, and throughout Scootaloo's body shading is exceedingly satisfying.

At first, these markers were giving me some issues with bleeding -- my portrait of Wednesday Addams bled too dark right on the bridge of her nose!! But it also became a fun challenge of problem-solving with a new toolset.

I'll digitally fix up that blotch later. Poor Wednesday. But I passed the greatest test -- my facial recognition cameras identified the drawing!

Atta girl!

A partial cat study! This one was especially funny to work with when the ink would bleed: the cat just gave me judgemental stares as I scurried to fix the problem.
