Hey guys, I'm pretty sick of the peeps at HF, I feel like why I even bother to post my comic publicly when they don't even care.

Should I just delete my public account there? I'm like if you don't like what you see then don't read it in the first place. I'm not appreciate over there I suppose. I'm just wasting my time there.

I'm even starting to doubt what I'm doing. Sometimes I get really depressed reading those comments. I know I'm a lousy writer but hey, it's not like I'm a writer to begin with. 

Would you rather I draw still images? or fanart only? I just wanted to give them some sort of story.

I only got this far because of you guys, let me know what you think.

Honestly, I liked your art before I found out about the story but once I realized there was more to them I actually got more attached. That's just me though. I feel like it's always better to give backgrounds, even if it wasn't planned.

I first found you on HF and then decided to pledge here because i was really enjoying your comic and i think stoping with it would be really sad since it would be quite a waste of talent. And if folks on HF are asses you should delete it and find some other page to promote yourself.

I would voice similar to the above people. I would add that you gotta do what you feel is best for you. Maybe the story isn't like super amazing, as you said you're not a writer, but it's something that does flesh out the characters so I don't think you can be faulted for at least trying. I would say I like your art style and the colorful approach you take. It's nice :)

You ate by far my favorite artists on Patreon. I enjoy your writing because it does not try to be anything it's not. It's a fun story and I can't wait to see where it goes. Check my alerts daily looking forward to updates. Don't get discouraged by people who don't enjoy your work. Their opinions don't matter. I first found you on HF and after that I looked you up on Patreon and decided to pledge. I love your drawing style and like the story in S.EXpedition... It makes the characters feel more alive. So don't let them discourage you and continue what you love to do.

im going to start off with the generic "i love your work" then cut right into it with a bone saw, people are always going to be pissy, if it does make a difference get rid you your HF account those pissy people will still be misrable insufferable cretins, the major difference between you and them is that even if they hate your work and dispise it, you have a paetron and hundreds of people pledgeing to you, while they are misreable and pissy of about your work you have power that they don't have control of in you, your work pisses them off to keep pissing them off and to live in spite keep working their going to be even more misrable and unhappy as time goes on

In advance sorry for bad English but not my language and i don't have time to proofread right now but still wanted to throw in my hat. I don't know what that site is you talk about but I guess it is a platform where you post your comic for free? Do you get any royalty's through adds ? If so you have to evaluate if that is enough to deal with the shittyness if not then you only "payment" would be good vibes and it seems you do not get those there. And on you comic/writing yes it is not fuking Shakespeare but it is ready nice and makes me want to read every next page. It is really seldom that an artist even bothers with story at all in that kind of content and even fewer manage to make me care. You do <3

HentaiFoundry is a place you go to find porn pics of hentai artwork, most people don't really go there for comics, and if they do, they look for comics that have heavy amounts of porn in them. While you do have some porn in yours, your comic is mostly an adventure and sci-fi type of comic, which would most likely explain why people over at Hentai Foundry wouldn't enjoy the comic. What I'd advice, is instead of posting all the pages of your comic on Hentai Foundry, start only posting pages of your comic to Hentai Foundry that contain porn in them, and write in the Description field something along the lines; "This is part of my on-going Adventure/Sci-Fi comic that's being released through Patreon to any $1 pledger, it has been going on for quite a while, and has gotten to 247 pages as of 02.13.2018, and is still being added to. If you think it would be for you, take a trip over to *link to your patreon page* and have a go!" Then keep the rest of the comic released as usual here on Patreon, where the people that are pledging to you do like the comic you creat :)

To be honest I first found your comic on a different page than HF. And I instantly loved your comic! I think you should shut down what gives you a bad feeling of your own fantastic work here. Let's say you could even have a community on your own because the people who like your comic are already following you here and everywhere and are sharing the comic with people who they think would like it - time to bring them together and specialise. By that I mean, what about an own website where you release the comic? I would be glad if I can help and by that I mean write a message and I'm there for you. And for web-hosting and building up a website I could manage that for you!

Ok, first I had to figure out what HF is ... But Ifound your account and read some of those comment. Some are just trolls ... But some want to rub your face in even your smallest weakpoints. It is a harsh way to show you things you could improve. The better you are, the meaner it gets. Read it, think about it rationally, reflect on your own opinion, and let it push you forward. But if it drags you down in any way, it is not worth it! Your mental health or self-confidence is nothing you should put on the line!

My advise would be to keep the account on HF for potential patrons, however i would strongly suggest that you shouldnt invest more time on those guys at HF it will tear you down over time. People here on your patreon are enjoying the comic you're making, its unique and a good read. Don't be shy to ask for some more advise in the future when needed. Also feel free to message me if you want to ask something.

HF is where i first found you and why i support u on patreon. I havn't been looking at the comments on the HF posts of comics as they are quite old when they are released there :P

I also found you on HF, and I rather like the narrative form art over single disjointed images. I don’t post much, but this lurker does appreciate the hard work you put into the comic and story. I’m not sure if it’s possible but disabling comments or notifications from there and ignoring the images after posting might help. Like a fire and forget situation for advertising purposes. Please remember as you collect yourself that you are good enough that people decided to pay money to see more. And you are smart and let them. Not everyone gets that opportunity, and it marks how special you are.

Never read the comments section...except here of course. I found you you somewhere else...so it's probably a good idea to post elsewhere after you are 50 pages ahead or so. The negative comments don't mean anything. You are getting paid to make exactly what you make. Everything about the comic is perfectly fine. Negative comments always seem to rise to the top, just ignore them.

Fuck 'em. It's not even worth it to read their comments if it's just tearing you down. Someone above said to just post smut there and not the entire comic. And I'd have to agree. Most people there don't go there for story or fanfics, so they won't like the content and make harsh comments on it. Maybe a monthly update that has one or two pages so that people get a taste of what they're missing. I wouldn't stop posting there, as that's a place for exposure. Don't let their comments get to you my man. :)

I like S.Expedition, so my vote goes to "continue". Just leave HF if the place is that toxic. As the cliche (but still valid) advice goes: "Go where you are appreciated, not just (barely) tolerated!"

I don't understand what their problem is. It is a decent story and the images are great. I would be sad if the comic stopped or turned into still images, so whatever you feel it takes to keep up the good work I support. I too deal with depression and know how hard it sucks your energy from you so nothing else than love and support from here.

I got so engrossed into the comic, I knew there the few pages that were there was only the start. I looked for more and found the HF site. Saw a lot more and got excited at what was there. Looked for more and found this site. I am a paying customer because I love your comic. I dropped HF as a visitor because, I didn't care about the lame posts people were making. Keep up the good work. My only complaint is.. the comic pages are not coming fast enough. I eagerly look forward to the new posts.

Haters gonna hate. Maybe pass your finished panel text by someone else for editing? I do love your art, but I will admit sometimes the writing is a bit awful.
