Thank you all for your patience! Here it is, much-awaited. After the doomed rescue mission, Kione finds herself isolated from the rebels and haunted by dogs. Making Sartha truly hers has become a singular obsession - and with the drug Handler 'gave' her, she finally has the means. But its hallucinatory effects teach both of them far, far more than Kione initially bargained for, and conjure up memories that threaten how she views the universe itself...

Enjoy! We really are speeding towards the conclusion here. I can't wait to show it to you all

good fucking grief, you must get tired of hearing it but you really have a way with words! maybe it's just how i read but i was completely transfixed for the back half of the chapter. Incredibly written. But also oh no kione you're getting worse instead of better who couldve seen this bad end approaching.

She has no idea what she's doing does she? There's a half dozen dominoes set up that would completely destroy her if ANY of them fall, and she's leaning on a big one right now. I am so ready to watch her burn. Fantastic work as always, you have such a way of ramping tension so quickly!

Oh wow. I'm gonna have to sit with this one for a while, probably reread a couple times. Definitely something special.

i don’t think i’ve ever been rooting for a main character to bad end so hard this is incredible.

Oh this is wonderful, you continue to outdo yourself. The turn into cosmic horror was fantastic, and so evocative.

gosh, every chapter builds on the last in such an incredible way. kione is one of my favorite characters in recent memory, watching her self-confident spiral towards that inevitable bad end has been a delight. the entire back half of this chapter was especially phenomenal--i had chills the whole time and the notion of handler as pure power is erotically and metaphysically amazing. keep up the great work!!!

OUGH!!!! i keep hoping for things to change and it's just...not...happening...

the last half is chilling, aaa my heart... I had hoped Kione would get at least one win against Handler before self-destructing but I think the chance of that happening died in this chapter I wonder if Kione's dog hallucinations are stress induced or if it's something more nefarious Love how Kione's instincts serve her so well in high-risk battles, but they hinder her in dealing with people. So tragically foreshadowed by her death defying stunt last chapter agh Really enjoyed the peek at pre-capture Sartha even if it was immediately used to twist the knife Truly amazing as always, my heart hates it and my soul adores it~
