I made a video in case you want to check that out! It basically says what's below, except you don't have to read anything 😂

We finished Arcane last week, so next week I'll start House of the Dragon Season 2. Over the next couple of weeks I'll catch up and soon I'll release my reaction to the episode that airs on Sunday on the Monday or Tuesday.

I was planning on watching The Pacific, but I forgot about HotD, so The Pacific will most likely be after HotD 😅

For movie reactions in June, there will be the full length of The Abyss (Special Edition) and The Longest Day (1962)!

And then we head into July ... who knows what movies will be chosen by our Producers and Marble Winner!!

I hope you're all having a good week 🤩

June was indeed a big month for TV series with The Boys season 4 dropping as well. So much good stuff to watch and as always it's a joy to share the experience with you! Thanks for the update 😄

I’m excited for The Pacific, Fallout and Sherlock. It’s ok, I’ll wait 😊

The abyss will be good and the Pacific. It’s been so long since I saw the longest day it’ll be like new to me. You’re really should do Stranger Things as a series if you haven’t seen it already.

It sounds like The Abyss reaction has already been shot. I'll just say that I honestly think that the Theatrical Cut is better. (I concede that most prefer the extended edition as it spells out the movie's themes in no uncertain terms.)

I need to look at July to see if there is anything sneaking up on me!! I'm so glad that you enjoy sharing the experience with me 😁🤩

I've seen parts of Stranger Things. I don't think enough to really know what's going on though.

It really seems to me that it would fit the vibe here a lot. I loved the first two seasons. The ones after that were done because the show was so popular. you have a complete story arc in the first two seasons.

Theatrical cuts are always better in my opinion. I’ve never seen a Director’s cut that I thought did any good whatsoever. Good example would be Blade Runner the theatrical cut was much better than Ridley Scott’s cut.

Scott, I tend to agree. One rare example where I really prefer the Extended Cut are the LOTR movies. However, I think I usually prefer theatrical as well. Vero, I'll save my specific points about the extended edition for the reaction. Though I'll say again, most people prefer the extended.

I do like the video and read style of the update. The video gives it a little extra, and I don't necessarily have to stare at the computer to know what the update is. But after the first time, I probably don't want to go through the whole video again (even if it is short) so having the summary written out is nice too. :)

Thanks for the update!

That's perfectly fine though! There are movies that people choose from Marble race or Producer that barely anyone watches the reactions to. I knew this when I started it, and movies are so subjective it's impossible to make everyone happy. Heck some of the movies that I choose to watch perform horribly on Patreon and YouTube (I'm looking at you MI franchise), but I still enjoy getting to experience the movie(s) 😁

That's the joy of creating a movie... you get to show your vision. Some people make the movies for them, others make the movies for the audience. I think whenever there is a director's cut, it's because the filmmaker is doing it for themselves

I'm similar like that, so I thought I would do both lol When only a video is available, I tend to just not go back to it if I forget what was said.

There is an LOTR exemption to the extended cut rule that is for sure. And remember you would not have LOTR without C.S. Lewis, not many people seem to know that.
