There are some movies on this list that have been recommended a LOT, and so I'm very curious to see which will win out.

These are all "Best Picture" Winners throughout the years. I know there are a lot of other great movies that won the award, but frankly my dear, I don't give a darn 🤣

As usual, you are allowed multiple votes, and this poll will end on October 12th at 11am EDT/3pmUTC, so get your votes in before then!

Reminder that just because a movie does not win a poll, does not mean that I will never watch it. It basically just gets watched now instead of sometime in the future 😁

Vero... Baby.. set aside Parasite.. Basically a least enjoyable movie.. the top five in the list are all number ones... suggest that you make a producer's executive decision.. watch one per week... my order of finish would be Casablanca ( director Michael Curtiz, Best Director Oscar), The Godfather (director Francis Ford Coppola, Best Director Oscar), The Godfather II (director Francis Ford Coppola, Best Director Oscar) (added bc you need to watch these together, the only sequel to win a Best Picture Oscar) , Schindler's List (director Steven Spielberg, Best Director Oscar), Rocky (director John Avildsen, Best Director Oscar), Gladiator (director Ridley Scott, Best Director Nominee).. in my humble opinion, this would give you a good shot of adrenaline of fully wonderful movie making..

Verowak

I'll eventually get to all of them, that's for sure. The winner of this poll will just be brought to the top of my list :D

Mike McLaughlin

Thanks for taking the time to respond.. keep up the good presentations.. appreciate you sharing your thoughts with the community.. you are interesting and entertaining.. all the best..

Scott Howard

I’m Totally out of step with everybody about the Godfather.

Verowak

I've actually seen quite a few people who didn't enjoy Godfather. Overall, I would say of the people that I've spoken to about it, it's 50/50 on if they liked it or not lol

Scott Howard

It's interesting that you see that. I can see why some people would like it, but that it should be a classic favorite of everyone is baffling to me. I can't even watch a minute of it, which is why I could never be a reactor like you do.

Razor Bikini

Honestly pretty sad to see Parasite so low, not just because it’s every bit as much a masterpiece as any other movie here, but also because I think it would make for a more entertaining reaction video than most of these.

Verowak

I've just heard really amazing things about it, though it's possible since it's more recent, fewer people have actually watched it

Razor Bikini

It is absolutely a case of it being more recent, and not having earned the reputation as a classic that movies like Rocky or Gladiator have over time. Plus it’s the only foreign language film to win best picture, and unfortunately many people still won’t even consider watching movies that aren’t in English.

sammy

I'm new here my apologies , how can we vote on the next movie ?

sammy

You can always go on the Tarantino journey ( the hateful 8 ) is a masterpiece that will test your intelligence :)

Verowak

Tarantino is a director that I need to watch! I'm going to try to plan something for next year for him (possibly 1 movie a month?)
