The winner of my YouTube Christmas movie poll!

I don't think I've ever felt to much frustration during a Christmas movie 🤣

It's a great sign that the movie was very immersive though! If I feel strongly about a character, then I'm good!

I definitely preferred Bill Murray's performance in Ghostbusters over this one (mostly due to the volume of his delivery).

It was great to see Marion again though!! She has a wonderful smile.

I need to see Bill Murray in serious roles now though!

For this style of reaction, you need your own copy to watch the movie.  You can set picture in picture by right clicking twice on the video and selecting "Picture in picture". The right clicking twice is a bit tricky, because you have to right click, then move your cursor so it's not on the menu, then right click again

Thank you so much everyone for your support, you are amazing!!

Reminder that you need your own copy of the movie to watch along with me since this is solely my reaction. The video is there so you can have an idea when the scene changes in case you need to sync up, but it is HEAVILY blurred so I don't have any copyright issues. Enjoy!!

Scott Howard

You need to see him in Groundhog Day. That is really Bill Murray at his best.

Definitely think Bill Murray's performance in "Ghostbusters" was a comedy masterclass. His timing and delivery always cracks me up.

He was so great in ghostbusters, I'm looking forward to Groundhog Day and hope he's just as great!

You really need to see A Christmas Carol with Alistair Sim before you watch any derivatives of a Christmas Carol. You’re just not literate on this until you do. This also had a lot of references that you wouldn’t get unless you lived in the 80s, most people don’t know the Six million Dollar man thing at all. Gotta be a real geek to get that. I won’t bloviate about all of them, but there’s a lot more in this. A good example of how a movie dates itself.

I always assume that I miss references in movies that were made before the mid 90s/2000s. That's just how it is though, but thankfully movies have so many things to appreciate 😁

A Christmas Carol 1984 Film Starring George C. Scott is my number one favorite version. The second one is A Christmas Carol 1939 Film and that has amazing cast of All Stars as well. From a film critics perspective the 1939 version of A Christmas Carol is the number one best adaptation of all the A Christmas Carol movies.
