I'm in denial.

100%.

I need to see it to believe it.

Also, Kanan looks weird without his facial hair 🤣

For this style of reaction, you need your own copy to watch the movie.  You can set picture in picture by right clicking twice on the video and selecting "Picture in picture". The right clicking twice is a bit tricky, because you have to right click, then move your cursor so it's not on the menu, then right click again

Full Length - Rebels Episode 4x10 - Jedi night

You need your own copy of the show to watch along with me though since this is solely my reaction. The video is there so you can have an idea when the scene changes in case you need to sync up, but it is HEAVILY blurred so I don't have any copyright issues. Enjoy!!

The last thing Kanan said to Hera before he was blinded by Maul was "We'll see each other again. I promise" 😭

I knew something was up the second Kanan started acting all ominous throughout this Episode, ever since his interaction with the Wolves last episode after it cut away something inside him changed. I think he knew what was gonna happen & what he must do and accepted it all, all his deep comments to Ezzy & enjoying every moment with Hera, it felt like he was saying Goodbye. I still don't wanna believe it though! 😭

Kanan's been my favourite character this series so I'm obviously disappointed that his story has ended - at least he went out knowing that he'd managed to save the people he loved. But like you said, we didn't see the body so you never know, characters have come back from worse! (Looking at you, Maul & Palpatine!) I wonder if Hera will add him to her family art? It's good that they were finally able to express their feelings for each other but I'm a bit confused because in the early seasons they were calling each other "love" so I'd assumed they already were together? Not many episodes left now, it will be interesting to see how it wraps up! As an aside I really need to stop reading comments from the people who have clearly seen the series already 😅 Comments like "Oooh next episode is a big one" and "Can't wait to see how Vero reacts to next episode" had already put me on edge unfortunately going into this one but that's very much a me problem.

Same, Kanan being my favourite makes this more disappointing than anything for me. I get the sacrifice, but it's starting to feel like that's how all Star Wars characters die 🤔 No body means I stay hopeful and in denial!! I'm taking them expressing their feelings more like an affirmation since they've been so busy with everything since the first season. They've been on missions non-stop, commanding people, and probably didn't have much time to spend together. So I think they were together, but it's been so long that they finally have moment of just the two of them. Yeah, expectation spoilers are really hard to prevent like "Next episode is so important" or whatever. It's been a while since I made a post about that, maybe I'm due to make one!

Kanan cutting his hair and shaving is very ritualistic so I believe he knew where is path is going to end up and he is accepted it and wanting to help is family. Watching Hera looking on in abject horror as happening is soul destroying.
