Our Gene Hackman poll winner!

Featuring an amazing soundtrack by the one and only... Hans Zimmer!!! 🥰

I'm not sure if it's just me... but any movie that takes place on a submarine instantly has me more tense 😅

I will say, Gene Hackman is just so natural in his acting. Also, I just remembered where I know the actor who played the sonar supervisor.. HOUSE! I'm pretty sure when I recognize and actor but can't place them, it's usually from House or Lost 🤣

I'm really glad that this won the poll, the movie is right up my alley.

Huge bonus we get to see Aragorn 🤩

For this style of reaction, you need your own copy to watch the movie.  You can set picture in picture by right clicking twice on the video and selecting "Picture in picture". The right clicking twice is a bit tricky, because you have to right click, then move your cursor so it's not on the menu, then right click again

Thank you so much everyone for your support, you are amazing!!

I couldn't do this without you <3

FULL LENGTH REACTION | Crimson Tide (1995) [2025]

Reminder that you need your own copy of the movie to watch along with me since this is solely my reaction. The video is there so you can have an idea when the scene changes in case you need to sync up, but it is HEAVILY blurred so I don't have any copyright issues. Enjoy!!

Thank you, Vero! Looking forward to seeing this reaction after errands and chores.

My pleasure! I hope you enjoy and that errands and chores were done with minimal annoyances lol

Scott Howard

Having been in the navy, I don’t think the events portrayed are really possible, but that doesn’t mean this isn’t a great movie cause it is. It’s one of the few Denzel Washington movies I really like. Looking forward to rewatching it.

I'm just glad to hear that even if the events aren't really possible, you still enjoy the movie! 🤩

Hans Zimmer also did the music for "True Romance", the Quentin Tarantino (writer) and Tony Scott (director) project that you mentioned in the IMDB Trivia segment of your outro.

Great reaction, Vero! Gene Hackman did some great acting in this movie with his eyes and his subtle, but packed, facial expressions.

Horoldo

Great reaction, great movie. You mentioned Val Kilmer at the end, my favourite role of his was in "Tombstone" with Kurt Russell, epic scenes in that movie too.

Tim Heron

When a death occurs on a submarine, the body is placed in the freezer in the galley; it's the only place cold enough to preserve it.

Oh! I didn't know that, now I'm curious about that one. I looked it up briefly to see that cast, and it looks like a stacked cast!!

Thank you!! "Tombstone" and "Unforgiven" are two movies that I need to watch since to me, they're the same movie (since they're both westerns haha)

Ahh, thanks for that. That makes sense, and hopefully not many deaths occur at once 😨

Great reaction! For a movie with a similar vibe albeit a different content matter - with a GREAT soundtrack in part by Hans Zimmer - I strongly recommend checking out "The Rock" (1996), also on Disney+. It is among the best action movies of the 90s.
