Thank you for this reactr request!!

A lesser known Val Kilmer movie, where he really gets to shine. He has a wide range, and his character has such a nice progressions throughout the movie. I love seeing a character change.

Graham Greene was just great! I believe he was the "token First Nations/Indigenous actor" in the 1990s, though I first saw him in The Last of Us Season 1 🤣

A story inspired by true events, it is both great to see, and so frustrating to see.

A really great movie that I was not expecting. I do love a good murder mystery!! 🤩

For this style of reaction, you need your own copy to watch the movie.  You can set picture in picture by right clicking twice on the video and selecting "Picture in picture". The right clicking twice is a bit tricky, because you have to right click, then move your cursor so it's not on the menu, then right click again

By far a hidden gem, I forgot about this one lol. Greene does get the token native role but he brings a lot of depth and variety bringing out tons of different character ranges to life. One of my favorites of his is another lesser known role from the show Longmire, which gave another great native actor Zahn Maclarnen some great screen time to show his ability.

One of my all time favorite movies, even though it doesn’t show up in my “top” lists of movies. I’m pretty sure I can recite the entire movie’s dialogue start to finish while watching it. It’s one of those movies that hits you for some reason, and is hard to describe why you like it so much, especially considering that many have not even heard of it. My favorite Val movie though is “Real Genius”, a great comedy that is also another under the radar quality movie.

Yep. That's the one I was looking forward to. it's been a long time since I've seen it. The parts I remembered were Graham Greene reading footprints, noting how much change the man had in his pocket, and Val Kilmer being dubbed the "Washington Redskin" after the National Football League's Washington Redskins football team in D.C. now known as the Washington Commanders. Good movie. I paid closer attention to it this time. Lots of organized cruelty. I liked your reaction and review. I noticed the same thing as you did with the subtitles. I could tell what was going to happen ahead of the scenes on screen. Thanks, Vero and whoever requested this one.

Loved Longmire. If not for Cassidy Freeman's role as Eva Azarova on NCIS and NCIS New Orleans, I would not have heard of it.

I love that you've seen Thunderheart so many times that you can recite the dialogue! That's mighty impressive. It's definitely a movie with a ton of rewatch potential, it's just so well made and captivating!

Him being able to tell how much change the man had in his pockets is just great. The delivery of a lot of the comedy is deadpan, which is always a plus for me! I don't know sports, so I really had no clue what it stood for 😅 I'm glad you liked the reaction!!!! 🥰

Good gosh! Here’s another fantastic film that’s overlooked a lot. “WIND RIVER” is an excellent movie similar to this one. 2017 neo-western crime film. 🎥 ❤️ Here to watch Thunderheart tonight tho.😊👍🏼👏🏼❤️

Carol Rocha

Graham Greene is in The Green Mile and he’s in Wind River. Val Kilmer is also in The Missing, a great movie with Tommy Lee Jones, Cate Blanchett and it is a great western. Tommy Lee Jones is Cate’s long lost Native American father. I had my wires crossed earlier about this and another western. 🤦🏻‍♀️👍🏼

Loved your reaction! Thanks to whomever requested it! It’s a favorite of ours. So underrated. My husband turned me on to it about 10 years ago. I’ve loved it ever since. ❤️😊

It's interesting how sometimes I hear of a movie for the first time, then a few people mention it not long after 🤣

Verowak

💗Hurray for your husband to showing this to you 10 years ago!! It's a nice hidden gem, that's for sure!! I'm happy you enjoyed the reaction, too!! 🥰

Thanks for taking my suggestion; I greatly appreciate it:) Just out of curiosity, I was wondering, is there going to be a youtube edit of this reaction? One of the reasons I was asking is that I heard that Graham Greene (who played Walter Crowhorse) had recently passed away on September 1st. It might a fitting tribute to both of these fine actors.

Verowak

That's a good question! I haven't seen anyone react to this one on YT, yet. I haven't decided if I will edit it though
