I'M SO EXCITED!!!

I'm finally started this amazing series, and the first episode has me wanting more!!

A heads up, please NO SPOILERS in the comments! Messages will be deleted if information is given. I assume we'll find out more throughout the series, so I will be VERY liberal with remove anything that I assume could be spoilers (I'm not the only one watching this series for the first time, and I know they won't want to be spoiled either). Expectation spoilers are still spoilers.

A BOUNTY HUNTER?! I LOVE seeing them!

Pedro Pascal's voice? He's so hot right now.

Baby Yoda? 🤩

The hype for baby Yoda when this came out was unreal, then there were toys and so much merch. Then at some point we learn his name, which I have heard over the years, so that's not a surprise to me.

I think this was a great start to the series! It has a gritty yet happy feel to it, if that makes sense lol

For this style of reaction, you need your own copy to watch the movie.  You can set picture in picture by right clicking twice on the video and selecting "Picture in picture". The right clicking twice is a bit tricky, because you have to right click, then move your cursor so it's not on the menu, then right click again

- Vero 🥰

Thank you so much everyone for your support, you are the best!!

FULL LENGTH - The Mandalorian Season 1 Episode 1 - The Mandalorian

You need your own copy of the show to watch along with me though since this is solely my reaction. The video is there so you can have an idea when the scene changes in case you need to sync up, but it is HEAVILY blurred so I don't have any copyright issues. Enjoy!!

Finally the time has come!!! 😍😍😍

This is the way.

Bran

The reveal of baby yoda was a complete shock to everyone. He wasn't in any promotional material and they somehow managed to keep it from leaking. The theory crafting the days after this first aired was so fun

I'm so glad you're starting this one, Vero! 🛡️ Yes, this story starts about 5 years after the fall of the Empire. 🔸 And don't forget SKELETON CREW (2024), too. After AHSOKA (2023 through current) should be fine.

Bruce Wesley

I don’t think I’ve ever seen you this bright eyed and bushy tailed Vero! Happy you’re finally starting this season. I love the IG-88 droid in this. It’s almost hypnotic watching him move. I can’t even tell how much of it was practical or CGI which is a good thing.

Really enjoyed this reaction Vero. Since you asked, the planet where we saw in the beginning and Mando interacting with the other Mandalorian is called Nevarro. And the planet where he went to go get the child is called Arvala-7. And you're correct, Bo-Katan Kryze was the last person to take the Darksaber after being inspired by Sabine Wren. I really liked the Ugnaught friend that Mando met and the reference to the Mythosaurs and Life Day from the Star Wars Holiday Special lol The Razor Crest is probably one of my favorite ships. Definitely useful for Bounty Hunting.

Glad to see you hit this series. I didn't know what to expect for this show. I expected to see bounties, it was see cool to see that first bounty collection at the beginning of the episode. I had no idea who Pedro Pascal was at the start of the show, apparently he is famous :) I was not expecting a 50 year young person clearly the same species as Yoda. They did a good job of hiding that. Looking forward to the rest of the series. I have written.

I will give you a general sense of where this is in relation to other Star Wars media. The Mandalorian takes place in 9 ABY( after the Battle of Yavin as seen in A New Hope). The Mandalorian takes place 5 years after the Battle of Endor, Return of the Jedi. It takes place 25 years before the events of “The Force Awakens”. The Galactic Civil War ( the war of the Original Trilogy) ended 4 years prior at the Battle of Jakku( which is seen in the Aftermath novels and the Battlefront 2 video game), with a Rebellion victory and the formal surrender of the Empire by Mas Amedda.

JAKH

No spoilers: Sabine did not give the Dark Saber to Bo-Katan. It may not be given, only taken as a spoil of combat from a defeated opponent.
