I was worried, but this episode didn't feel lackluster!

What a swell adventure, and Sherlock is just... quite something isn't he 😅

It was very nice to see Sherlock act human even though he was under the influence. Though I'm not a fan of him being mean or tricking Watson like that.

The creators are just fantastic for this series 🤩

I believe we'll get some Moriarty next episode, and I'm hyped!!! I hope you are too!!

For this style of reaction, you need your own copy to watch the movie.  You can set picture in picture by right clicking twice on the video and selecting "Picture in picture". The right clicking twice is a bit tricky, because you have to right click, then move your cursor so it's not on the menu, then right click again

Thank you so much everyone for your support, you are the best!!

FULL LENGTH - Sherlock Season 2 Episode 2 - The Hounds of Baskerville

You need your own copy of the show to watch along with me though since this is solely my reaction. The video is there so you can have an idea when the scene changes in case you need to sync up, but it is HEAVILY blurred so I don't have any copyright issues. Enjoy!!

Mondays are becoming my favorite day. Love Sherlock.

I liked this episode very much...😍 The second episodes in the first and this season were kinda like stand-alone ones, only losely connected to the overall story. But where the first second episode fell a little short (still complaining on a very high level 😊), this one was much better. It is so well written. The references to classic gothic horror stories, the borderline thriller/horror presentation, the camera work, the sound design, the music, the acting and above all the editing (in my eyes it is the editing that makes this show so special) - everything is so greatly done. The actors delivered their panic and fear so convincing, after my first watch I only realized afterwards that we were never shown a monster throughout the entire episode until the end. Even then it was just a rabid dog, hyped up by a hallucinogen. Such a great make-believe...😱

You seemed a bit confused by the reference to "Cluedo". Cluedo is the British name for the board game Clue. Evidently, Sherlock and Watson played a game of Cluedo and Sherlock deduced that the murder victim had committed suicide. Naturally, this cannot possibly be the solution in the actual game.....

I loved this episode. As much as I love series arcs, standalone episodes when done this well are a perfect palette cleanser for me. For most of the Brits watching UMQRA was very much related to the mystery - they were “The Doggers of Baskerville” 😁. For those unsure, try this: https://youtu.be/5u4hAxi5b6o?si=2IbjJ_fkE755g6SL Be sure to watch until the end, then do yourself a favour and watch the entire show "Car Share"

It’s a more interesting name if you ask me, but if Ludo is not known in North America then I guess that’s the reason they changed it over there.

Some good ol' fashion dogging 🤣 A few years ago, I was learning about certain words used here that have a VERY different meaning in the UK. Like cottaging 🤣 I never put the connection of "hounds of baskerville" and "dogging" for UMQRA, that's hilarious!!!
