Our 1950s winner!!

My first Hitchcock movie, and my first Grace Kelly movie!!

I love the suspense and build up, I'm excited for more Hitchcock movies!! It's just a fantastic film, I loved the production aspect of it, it's really such a nice way to make a film.

Grace Kelly and Jimmy Stewart were fun to watch, they both played interesting characters, and it must have been very different from Jimmy's other roles, you know... being in a cast and all 😂

For this style of reaction, you need your own copy to watch the movie.  You can set picture in picture by right clicking twice on the video and selecting "Picture in picture". The right clicking twice is a bit tricky, because you have to right click, then move your cursor so it's not on the menu, then right click again

Thank you so much for being here and watching along with me!!

FULL LENGTH REACTION | Rear Window (1954) [2025]

Reminder that you need your own copy of the movie to watch along with me since this is solely my reaction. The video is there so you can have an idea when the scene changes in case you need to sync up, but it is HEAVILY blurred so I don't have any copyright issues. Enjoy!!

There's a reason Hitchcock was called the master of suspense. I don't think I'm spoiling anything, but "Psycho" is probably even better. Also worthy watches are "North by Northwest", "The Birds", "Rope", "Rebecca", "Dial M for Murder ", "Strangers on a Train", and "Vertigo". Edit: I forgot there's also a remake with Christopher Reeve that aired on television in 1998. It's watchable, but like most movie remakes, it's vastly inferior to the original.

Thanks so much, Vero! 🪟 I'm sure I've mentioned this to you before, but I hope you'll get around to Hitchcock's dark-comedy/mystery THE TROUBLE WITH HARRY (1955) someday.

Hitch Suggestions: To Catch a Thief, North by Northwest, The Birds, Strangers on a Train, Vertigo, Psycho, Notorious, The Man Who Knew Too Much.... There are tens more, but I might start with To Catch a Thief to follow the Grace Kelly theme, and secretly also because ... Jessie Royce Landis

Love this movie. It's great how timeless it is, you could picture the same situation in modern day happening. As far as Hitchcock movie go: Rope, Vertigo, Psycho, The Birds, Dial M for Murder, North By Northwest. Really, can't really go wrong with him

“THE BIRDS” 🦅 you should really see. Haven’t checked the list.

Considering Rear Window was my first Hitchcock movie, I definitely haven't seen The Birds yet :D
