The penultimate episode of the series 😭😭😭

Ever since the beginning, I've been loving seeing Watson, and this episode is no different.

There are a LOT of unexpected things this episode... Mrs. Hudson?! 🤣🤣

A lot of hard hitting scenes, and Martin Freeman is just perfection in all of them. He's done such a great job making me feel for him. He's not perfect, he's human.

I am SO pumped for the next episode, though I'm so sad that it'll be over.

For this style of reaction, you need your own copy to watch the movie.  You can set picture in picture by right clicking twice on the video and selecting "Picture in picture". The right clicking twice is a bit tricky, because you have to right click, then move your cursor so it's not on the menu, then right click again

Thank you so much everyone for your support, you are the best!!

FULL LENGTH - Sherlock Season 4 Episode 2 - The Lying Detective

You need your own copy of the show to watch along with me though since this is solely my reaction. The video is there so you can have an idea when the scene changes in case you need to sync up, but it is HEAVILY blurred so I don't have any copyright issues. Enjoy!!

The credits roll slow, she stares, haunted by the truth- “Only one left now…”

Almost there - one more to go ...🤩 I always loved the introduction of the secret sister in this season and this episode especially. Since I have a good memory for faces, I instantly recognized the woman from the bus in the new therapist, but the lightbulb only came on when I saw the fake daughter...🙂💡 Martin Freeman and Benedict Cumberbatch are such great actors. The way they make you invest emotions in their characters is so amazing. Of course the whole cast is great, but those two elevate the show to a higher level with their talent and their chemistry...😍 A special shout-out to Sian Brooke who plays Eurus, it was so great to see how she fooled not only Sherlock and (especially) John, but also many viewers. Really fantastic how she embodied the different personalities. 👏🏻 Mrs. Hudsons character development was a tad too much for my liking, it didn't feel organic, more forced for the sake of comic relief. But Una Stubbs very charming acting saves it. I loved how they hid the story that really mattered in plain sight for us all to see. Just like Culverton Smith they even spelled it out for us...😀 Okay, another great Sherlock monday done - one more for the road. See you next week...🙂🙋🏻‍♂️

Hey :) I just wanted to say I've been sick this past week and stumbled over your Sherlock reactions by coincidence and have now binge watched them all. It's been very fun rewatching this series, thank you for keeping me company these past few days!

I'm glad I was able to keep you company while you were sick!! Thank you so much for commenting, it makes me so happy to hear that it was fun. I hope you're feeling better!!

Just catching up with this one but had issues, your version was 1hr 28min 31 seconds to the start of the credits, my version is 1hr 32min and 27 seconds to the beginning of the credits. Not sure what why the difference but it became impossible to keep aligned. Will have to skip this episode. Hopefully better luck on the next one.

Ugh, I'm so sorry to hear that. I wish all streaming services had the same length of movies/episodes. I'm assuming the issue is with the framerate. I know BBC uses 25 fps, while North America uses 23.976. Since I watched on BritBox (only streaming platform it was available for me), I have the 25fps, and I'm assuming you have a US/NA streaming platform (or even DVD), which would make your version ever so slightly slower, but it adds up over time. I don't know what the solution is for that :(

This is probably my favorite episode, every part of it is just pure gold!!! I especially love the dialogue between Sherlock and John towards the end, I think it's the first time we see Sherlock showing genuine compassion and willingly hugging someone to comfort them. That part hits me so hard every time
