You know, it ain't so bad as everyone says.

I think the movie gets more hate than it deserves. Rocky isn't perfect, and it shows in this one. Paulie is... Paulie.

This is going in the direction that I'm hoping, that Rocky stops fighting before it's too late!! He's learning about being a manager, and though he's not in it for the money, a lot of fighters will want to win big and make loads of money, so he's a good manager for specific fighters imo.

It was adorable and I had fun :D Though I do miss the music style of the first three movies 😁

For this style of reaction, you need your own copy to watch the movie.  You can set picture in picture by right clicking twice on the video and selecting "Picture in picture". The right clicking twice is a bit tricky, because you have to right click, then move your cursor so it's not on the menu, then right click again

Thank you so much for being here and watching along with me!!

FULL LENGTH REACTION | Rocky V (1990) [2025]

You need your own copy of the show to watch along with me though since this is solely my reaction. The video is there so you can have an idea when the scene changes in case you need to sync up, but it is HEAVILY blurred so I don't have any copyright issues. Enjoy!!

You’re tougher than me! For me this didn’t have the magic of the first four.. (really the first three if I think about it..)

I always thought this chapter received too much unjustified hate, I like it a lot and honestly I find it superior to 4!

Jimmie V

I'll take this one over 4. Also, Paulie gets a bad rap from the fans and from Stallone himself who writes him in these unflattering ways that don't really hold up under analysis (e.g., calling Paulie a lazy bum at the start of part 3 when Paulie's literally asking for a job like he always has and has been working one of the hardest jobs around for decades supporting him and his sister after doing service in the Navy). People also forget the contributions he made to get the Balboas where they're at like giving Rocky the meat required for training, being THE reason the Balboas are together in the first place (Rocky couldn't get a date, so Paulie made it happen and was even there to distract the cop and lift the rope up at the end of part 1 to let them have their "I love you" moment), not to mention being the only one helping THEIR kid with his bullying problem and being there to get Rocky a job and take over the car payment way back in part 2 when Rocky needed him because he was bad with money. They blame this whole financial situation on him when Rocky also didn't read/understand what he signed, both of the Balboas failed to pay taxes and mortgage on the house and it was THEIR accountant behind this all in the first place.

V is mostly decent but I feel like the end isn't quite what the story needed. When I first watched it I assumed after he's betrayed by Tommy, Rocky would train up someone else to beat him the "right" way or something along those lines. Ending on a street fight just didn't really feel like Rocky.

This films biggest sin is that at no point did it make Vero dance to the music 💔💔💔

For Rocky Balboa, please watch the Ultimate Director's Cut.
