Holy positive vibes, Batman!

What a hoot!! Thank you Brad for this reactr request, it's honestly such a different style than the Nolan trilogy, but just a lot of fun, too!

Batman and Robin are just overall such positive people, they give me massive goody two shoes vibes (not that it's a bad thing, just the easiest way to describe them).

I love so many aspects of this film, from labeling everything, having all these weird gadgets that do exactly what they need to do, to Batman punching a shark 🤣🤣🤣

I really hope you enjoy the reaction, and have some fun!

For this style of reaction, you need your own copy to watch the movie.  You can set picture in picture by right clicking twice on the video and selecting "Picture in picture". The right clicking twice is a bit tricky, because you have to right click, then move your cursor so it's not on the menu, then right click again

Thank you so much for being here and watching along with me!!

As always, if you have any questions, comments, suggestions, concerns, just feel like sharing... don't hesitate!! 😁

FULL LENGTH REACTION | Batman The Movie (1966) [2025]

You need your own copy of the media to watch along with me though since this is solely my reaction. The video is there so you can have an idea when the scene changes in case you need to sync up, but it is HEAVILY blurred so I don't have any copyright issues. Enjoy!!

This came out between season 1 and season 2 of the tv series. There were 3 seasons in total. Also, two animated films came out in 2016 and 2017 with Adam West(just before he died) and Burt Ward returning to voice Batman and Robin. https://youtu.be/5r6a8bOahFQ?feature=shared

Thanks, Véro! 🦇 The concurrent tv series BATMAN (1966 through 1968) was even better than this movie, in my opinion. As you can tell, the fun tone had great appeal. It was a staple for my afterschool viewing for a few years in the 70s, when it was syndicated.

Hello my sister, glad you enjoyed the movie. I'm in my 60's and I saw this in the movies when it first came out. Obviously an 8 or 9 year old 60's child would view it differently than you today. I can tell you that I watched it in the movies and my friends with amazement and astonishment. You're a 2025 era young adult, I can assure you ridiculous was not a word I would have used to describe it when I saw it in the movies with eyes and opened wide and amazement. When you use the term "goodytooshoes" you must think about the target audience, "kids and young adults" in the 1960's. This was an extremely popular movies at the time and the series was super hot................. It was a wonderful time to be a kid and another movie full of spectacle at the time is the original James Bond and the movie Thunderball. I highly encourage you to dig into the original James Bond of Sean Connery, esp Goldfinger and Thunderball. But it was fun watching this with you. OH one last thing, so part of this adventure was a romcom of sorts and when Catwoman's identity was found out by batman and he remembered his love for Ms. Kitka, and the heart break in Batman's eyes' well n that movie theatre in 1966, this little kid almost started crying, feeling so sad for Bruce/Batman; funny to think of now. I do encourage young adults today who look back at our old movies, to almost imagine what it would be like for you if you were that kid or young adult at the time the movie came out. It was quite a different world for sure :)

This is a good time capsule of the 1960’s. The president is supposed to be Lyndon Baines Johnson(LBJ) who was president at the time and the audience would have known by the Texas decor. The show has a campy atmosphere and it is meant to be fun and entertaining. If you enjoy this definitely check out the series. With the passing of Adam West in 2017: only Burt Ward, Lee Meriweather, and Julie Newmar are still with us. The romantic tension between Batman and Catwoman was written into the Season Two series. In one episode, the two share a milkshake with two straws in full costume, the most ridiculous thing ever, while being kinda adorable at the same time. It was so popular that it became a staple of discussions especially among the school aged children on the playground. It also attracted the biggest names of the day. In the first two seasons, two episodes which titles usually rhyme to make up a single story with a cliffhanger at the end of the first. The third season, has single episode stories and adds Batgirl to the roster of heroes. In season two episodes 51-52, features a guest hero with Green Hornet( Van Williams) & Kato( extremely young Bruce Lee, who consequently often trained with Burt Ward). Alfred is a great character and a big part of the story and the only one other than Batman and Robin to know their secret identities. While a couple of characters figure it out nobody will believe them. The Penguins trademark laugh comes from the fact that Meredith had stopped smoking years before taking this role, he had to start smoking for the role and it irritated his throat causing the laugh. He stopped after the show ended. In fact it was this show that brought Catwoman back from obscurity. In the 1950’s the comic book industry introduced a self- censorship which basically forced comic books to go in a sillier and more outlandish direction. The show became so famous that Frank Sinatra and Robert Kennedy( who was the Attorney General) wanted to do a cameo appearance. This show had multiple people playing the same role. Catwoman was played by three different actresses: Julie Newmar, Lee Meriwether, Eartha Kitt. Riddler was played by two different actors, Frank Gorshin, who IS the Riddler and really made him a regular villain. John Astin takes over for two episodes because Gorshin had a dispute with producers that caused him recast him or they rewrote the episodes with another similar villain. All of the other villains are only played by one actor.

I love my DVD for this movie. The options are all "Bat movie!", " Bat lanuages!" And "Bat features!", and Robin says " Holy interactive menus, Batman!"
