We get some answers!!!

I cannot stop being amazed at how this story has been built up and structured each episode.

Plus, we're getting so many answers, so I'm absolutely loving it 🥰

Things make a lot more sense now, and I'm glad to have been wrong about many things lol

Only one more episode to go 😭

For this style of reaction, you need your own copy to watch along.  You can set picture in picture by right clicking twice on the video and selecting "Picture in picture". The right clicking twice is a bit tricky, because you have to right click, then move your cursor so it's not on the menu, then right click again

Thank you so much everyone for being here!! 🤩

FULL LENGTH - The Haunting of Hill House Season 1 Episode 9 - Screaming Meemies

You need your own copy of the show to watch along with me though since this is solely my reaction. The video is there so you can have an idea when the scene changes in case you need to sync up, but it is HEAVILY blurred so I don't have any copyright issues. Enjoy!!

You asked about the other Flanaverse shows and said that you might not record reactions and I encourage you to watch them no matter what, they're all varying grades of Good to Great in my book. I would like to see the reactions but no big deal if that isn't in the cards. I would also encourage you to look at the numbers reactions to these shows can do but you're the Youtuber and I'm pretty sure you've done the math on that sort of thing already. I will say that the next two series he did, Bly Manor and Midnight Mass, aren't really horror. Bly Manor is a Gothic romance tale and Midnight Mass is almost a supernatural take on theodicy. The Midnight Club is a bit more YA than the rest, not bad but strangled in the crib by Netflix so it's not a complete story IMO. Fall of the House of Usher is probably the scariest of them all, filled with jumpscares and gore but a love letter to a classic author.

Now that we saw a lot of past events through the eyes of Olivia it fills out a lot of blank spots in the story. The last exchange between the parents was so heartbreaking for me...😭 None of them where really able to go on without her. Did the thought that Abigail could be real occur to you at any time before this episode? I had this moment during Mr. Dudleys great monologue, when he mentioned several times his "first born", that was stillborn, so that meant there must be a second born, otherwise he would have just said "my baby" or "my child". That got my gears turning and I suddenly thought, what if Luke always told the truth and Abigail is indeed real? 😅 Abigail had to be sneaky, because her mother forbade her to go to Hill House, but unfortunately Abigail took a liking to the little boy over there...🙈 Mrs. Dudleys little speech was the first monologue in this show I wanted to end as soon as possible. Without knowing it she fueled Livs fears and poured lots of gasoline into her already burning fire...😨 The most heartbreaking thing for me was the mom falling victim to lyling Poppy, the "devil in her ear". If she hadn't try to "wake them up", none of the bad things in the childrens later life would have happened. Finally I find it fascinating that if you exclude the ghosts and the evil spirit of the house and the visions, this could very well be a dramatic portrait of a persons decline through mental illness.

Bite your lip about not reacting on your channel to the remaining Mike Flanagan shows! Bly Manor, Midnight Mass, and House of Usher are all amazing shows!!!!
