This is definitely a movie to watch with minimal information!!

I have to say, it was a wild ride. I do love seeing people mess up repeatedly in ways that make me laugh or facepalm 🤣

It's also based on a true story, and it's worth reading up on the actual events afterwards since it seems just so impossible lol

For this style of reaction, you need your own copy to watch the movie.  You can set picture in picture by right clicking twice on the video and selecting "Picture in picture". The right clicking twice is a bit tricky, because you have to right click, then move your cursor so it's not on the menu, then right click again

FULL LENGTH REACTION | Pain & Gain (2013) [2025]

You need your own copy of the media to watch along with me though since this is solely my reaction. The video is there so you can have an idea when the scene changes in case you need to sync up, but it is HEAVILY blurred so I don't have any copyright issues. Enjoy!!

There's another great movie that came out in 2024 starring Kristen Stewart and Ed Harris called “Love Lies Bleeding”.

- Not sure if you watched them, but the end credits had photos and documents from the real investigation and evidence presented at trial. - Author Elmore Leonard was living in Florida in the mid 1990's. The Sun Gym case was the inspiration for his book (and the following movie) "Out of Sight" (1998). He likes to use characters from other books for continuity, Michael Keaton played the same character (Agent Ray Nicolette) in "Out of Sight" as he did in the movie "Jackie Brown" (1997), which was based on one of Elmore Leonard's previous books, "Rum Punch". "Jackie brown" (1997) should be on V's Tarantino watch list. - Composer Steve Jablonsky also did the score for other Wahlberg true story movies: "Deepwater Horizon" and "Lone Survivor"

🕺🏼 You don’t make friends with saaalad 💃🏼you don’t make friends with salad🕺🏼. Never thought I’d see you react to this film. I also didn’t know Michael Bay directed it. He’s probably my least favorite director there is due to his hard on for CGI. This film reminded me of why I got bored with Forensic Files. In fiction the killer is always highly intelligent and the person you least suspect, in real life they’re typically stupid beyond belief and generally the first person you suspect - the husband or estranged husband. Obviously this case didn’t involve spousal murder but it did do a decent job of showing why these guys always get caught. They don’t know how to cut their losses and stop. If you miraculously get away with murdering your wife to inherit life insurance money DON’T DO IT AGAIN!!!! I mean holy shit, when your second wife manages to “fall off a cliff” or die in a similar freak accident you’re going to get caught. I mean you just shake your head at these morons and ask what were they thinking? This is how you know they’re built differently than most people. I suspect the reason they don’t know when to quit is linked to their proclivity to kill. I think the numptys in this film were simply lucky for getting away with it for a short while. The only smart move they made from a game theory standpoint was forcing alcohol down Kershaw’s throat prior to his “accident”.
