Reactr request fun in the sun 🤣

Harrison Ford is basically Han Solo in this one lol

I'm always so surprised and happy to see David Schwimmer in a new role. He's really a joy to watch.

I love the crazy adventure they unexpectedly end up taking, and how insane it gets and with pirates too!

For this style of reaction, you need your own copy to watch the movie.  You can set picture in picture by right clicking twice on the video and selecting "Picture in picture". The right clicking twice is a bit tricky, because you have to right click, then move your cursor so it's not on the menu, then right click again

FULL LENGTH REACTION | Six Days Seven Nights (1998) [2025]

You need your own copy of the media to watch along with me though since this is solely my reaction. The video is there so you can have an idea when the scene changes in case you need to sync up, but it is HEAVILY blurred so I don't have any copyright issues. Enjoy!!

Now hold on a sec.. am I expected to believe he can’t ’Just glue it back on’? This is the guy who made the Kessel run in under 12 parsecs, right? My suspension of disbelief is being tested on this one!

Thanks for your reaction, Vero. It's been years since I've watched this movie and had forgotten almost everything about it. DIdn't recall anything about the pirates but recognized the three main baddies. Cliff Curtis' character befriended Ewan McGregor's Danny in "Doctor Sleep" (2019). I think Anne Heche did a wonderful job playing the fish out of water to Harrison Ford, and their roles required more physical stuff that the stunt crew could've handled from a wide shot. It's the sort of movie that falls within the category of the classic, "It Happened One Night" (1934), with the protagonists finding a way to warm up to each other. Also, it's like a mashup between "Cast Away" (2000) and "Flight of the Phoenix" (1965 & 2004 versions). I've never seen Jacqueline Obradors this early in her career. I've watched "Bosch" and "Bosch Legacy" on Prime Video and she had a supporting role as one of the no-nonsense homicide detectives. This was a fun watchalong!

Wow forgot this movie existed. Last time I saw it was in the theater. I didn’t remember the constant braless high beams however 😍😍😍. Then again 98 was probably at the tail end of my prepubescence so girls weren’t a thing yet. Apologies if that’s TMI 😂. I found this film to be extremely mediocre and forgettable. It was corny, cliche and the romance aspects seemed forced. Pirates coming out of nowhere and chasing them down for no reason also seemed sloppy. Like it wasn’t natural and just came out of nowhere. Just an extremely vanilla plot that is forgettable in my view. Merry Christmas to the Verosaurus Rex! 🦖

- Filmed on the Hawaiian island of Kauai - Harrison Ford was 56 and Anne Heche was 29 when they did this movie. - The pirate with the big chest tattoo is the excellent Danny Trejo - The pirate leader in the green shirt is Kiwi actor Temuera Morrison (Jango Fett, Boba Fett, Commander Cody, Commander Rex, and all the Clone Troopers in "The Mandalorian")
