With his passing, please help me choose a Robert Duvall movie to watch. These were taken from looking at IMDB and looking up his popular movies.

I just recently watched Jack Reacher and he was great in it 🤩

As usual, you can choose multiple entries to vote for.

The poll will end Feb 23 at 11am EST/4pm UTC

Feel free to share your favourite Robert Duvall movie in the comments :)

Thank you, Véro. ☄️

For one of Duvall's best, you may want to do the 4-part miniseries "Lonesome Dove" (1989), at some point. It gets bonus points because Duvall is not the only reason to watch.

My next favorite Duvall movie (after Godfather 1-2 and Apocalypse Now) is The Great Santini.

RegalEagle

‘The Great Santini’ .. him at his best!

Mister Lou

Second Hand Lions is all I've been thinking about since I heard the tragic news.

Jesse Hamm

I really liked his role in "The Natural" (1984), where he plays a rather ambiguous sportswriter who's always angling for a story while engaging in rather shady business practices.

Miles E Coburn

*MY* favorite Robert Duvall movie is "Open Range" (2003). Even though I know it won't win the poll because there are some bangers on here.

JAKH

voted. for future Robert Duvall consideration: "The Outfit" (1973) based on a Richard Stark/Robert Westlake "Parker" book "The Eagle Has Landed" (1976) w/ Michael Caine & Donald Sutherland

Lana Gorgeous

The two greatest in my opinion are The Apostle and The Great Santini, both masterpieces
