Thank you to our April Marble Winner, Biggsy for this one!!

Movie length: 2h16m02s

Go in with no information!! I appreciated the world building and seeing how different that world is. A lot of reveals throughout to keep things interesting, fun and tense 😁

I love it when actors get to do different accents in a movie (even if one is their natural accent, I just like seeing them show their skills!)

I can't wait to hear your thoughts!! 🤩

For this style of reaction, you need your own copy to watch the movie.  You can set picture in picture by right clicking twice on the video and selecting "Picture in picture". The right clicking twice is a bit tricky, because you have to right click, then move your cursor so it's not on the menu, then right click again

Thank you so much for being here!!

FULL LENGTH REACTION | The Island (2005) [2026]

You need your own copy of the media to watch along with me though since this is solely my reaction. The video is there so you can have an idea when the scene changes in case you need to sync up, but it is HEAVILY blurred so I don't have any copyright issues. Enjoy!!

Woohoo I'm glad you liked it 😄

Mister Lou

I love them discovering "dood" not knowing what it meant and then immediately use it right "dude?!" 😆

James Hadden

A lot of the movie came back to me when rewatching but that didn’t take anything away from my enjoyment. From the first half I wouldn’t have guessed it was a Michael Bay movie, but once the chase scenes got going it definitely felt like one of his. Despite most action sequences not doing much for me anymore (am I just getting old?) I enjoyed these quite a lot. I will say, however, it’s been a long time since I’ve seen plot armour working this hard during the building logo collapse! It wouldn’t surprise me if it turned out the world’s current billionaires had something similar to this set up. I need to rewatch Lucy. The fact I don’t remember any part of it is not a good sign, but my opinions of movies often change over time. Were you not a fan? I think my favourite thing Ewan McGregor has done is Long Way Round - a 10 part docuseries he did with his mate Charley Boorman where they motorbiked from London to New York.
