WHAT A START AND WHAT AN ENTRANCE!!!

The MVP so far is the soundtrack. 1 episode in and it is astounding 🤩 I need more Kevin Kiner soundtracks in my life.

whistles I do love animated series. They can look much better than live action series in this universe! I am so pumped to learn more about all these new characters.

One of the best things of having a Maul series is that he is a baddie, BUT he's smart! Though it's weird since... is he the protagonist of the story, and the Jedi would be the antagonists? 🤣

For this style of reaction, you need your own copy to watch the movie.  You can set picture in picture by right clicking twice on the video and selecting "Picture in picture". The right clicking twice is a bit tricky, because you have to right click, then move your cursor so it's not on the menu, then right click again

FULL LENGTH - Maul - Shadow Lord Season 1 Episode 1 - The Dark Revenge

You need your own copy of the media to watch along with me though since this is solely my reaction. The video is there so you can have an idea when the scene changes in case you need to sync up, but it is HEAVILY blurred so I don't have any copyright issues. Enjoy!!

Woo hoo, Véro! 💥 We're off to a good start.

Pretty Epic Start Indeed! Oh yeah Kevin Kiner never disappoints with his Soundtrack, from Clone Wars, Rebels, Bad Batch, AHSOKA and now This show he's always evolving. Two-Boots is likely Nicknamed that because you might notice he's actually wearing Two Boots on his droid feet which is hilarious lol I would assume all Jedi would know of Maul since he was the First Sith to Publicly Reveal himself in a Millennia it was a very big event at the time and even when he returned in Clone Wars which is likely how Pinky the Twi'lek who I'm assuming was a Padawan during the Clone Wars would recognize him.

Brandon Dodge

The pink Twi'leck girl is named in the credits as Devon Izari, voiced by Gideon Adlon. I wouldn't be surprised if she heard of Maul from when he was broadcasting via holo message that he was killing Jedi to bring out Kenobi in Clone Wars Season 4. And in between Seasons 4 and 5 Maul and Savage went on a rampage and killed a lot of Jedi in the Comics; Sith Hunters and Death Sentence. Her Master, Eeko-Dio Daki, or Daki for short, is a Mosyk, technically the first appearance of the Mosyk species in Star Wars. He is voiced by Dennis Haysbert, he's most well known for being in the Allstate commercials lol The Planet we're on is a new Planet called Janix. It kinda reminds me of the beginning of Andor with the Morlana One Corporation and Ferrix being independent of the Empire and wanting to keep the Empire away and be independent of them, and if the Empire gets called, they can pretty much kiss their freedom goodbye. The Mandalorian lady talking with Maul in the shadows is Rook Kast. In the Son of Dathomir comic Rook Kast and Gar Saxon freed Maul from his imprisonment from Sidious and she was at the Siege of Mandalore fighting against Bo Katan and the other Clone Troopers alongside Saxon and the Red Mandalorians. Shortly after the Siege of Mandalore Saxon and Rook were imprisoned on Mandalore. In the comic, Star Wars: Shadow of Maul we learn that Rook escaped her imprisonment while Saxon was left behind, leading her own Mandalorian Mercenary Supercommandos. They eventually found Maul's lightsaber and Maul after Order 66 and returned his lightsaber to him with some modifications.
