We're moving fast with the enemy within.

I'm getting a better feel for the characters, and Kawalsky's story is really sad. The show seems like it'll tackle some heavy subjects, with a touch of humour (thanks O'Neill 🤣)

Welcome Teal'c to the team!!!!! I'm glad to see that Hammond is on our side

For this style of reaction, you need your own copy to watch the movie.  You can set picture in picture by right clicking twice on the video and selecting "Picture in picture". The right clicking twice is a bit tricky, because you have to right click, then move your cursor so it's not on the menu, then right click again

FULL LENGTH - Stargate SG-1 Season 1 Episode 2 - The Enemy Within

You need your own copy of the media to watch along with me though since this is solely my reaction. The video is there so you can have an idea when the scene changes in case you need to sync up, but it is HEAVILY blurred so I don't have any copyright issues. Enjoy!!

"I told Teal'c how we all respect a person's rights in this country" Oh man, it's not like it was universally true then or ever, but imagine saying this today... lmao

Welcome to the team Teal'c 😄We definitely need him haha. This was a great episode to really show the stakes and lets us know just how out of our depth Earth is in the state of galactic affairs. It's sad to see Kawalsky go as he was a really good guy and it's heart breaking seeing how helpless he felt once he knew what was happening. As you rightly say Vero, the show does not seem to be shying away from the heavy and dark moments. Hammond certainly has some unlikable characteristics so far but this episode helps show that he does actually care about the people in his command which is great to see. He really fought like hell to save Kawalsky and Teal'c from becoming science experiments.

I must be delusional, because I see a post here for Children Of The Gods part 1, and the next Stargate post is for The Enemy Within. So where is the second part of CotG? Also confusing because I'm watching on Amazon Prime UK, and Children Of The Gods is a episode mini-film. That was it's original intention. So I watched the first half with you, and then we see the prison for the first time, and you suddenly start wrapping up the video😭 I just hope we can find the second part of CotG.

Bubba Fett

This jack is a little different than Russell's mainly he spells his name different. You will often hear Anderson bend, not really break the forth wall pointing out "It's O'Neill, with two Ls." I guess the extra L is where he got the extra humor from.

Just joined to support your Stargate journey. Have fun.

Yeah in my opinion the show starts to ramp up in quality starting around episode 9. Getting through episode 4 is a bit of a slug I think that most people will watch the episode once and they will skip that episode afterwards. Fun fact I don't know if you're aware of this or if you ever play the God of war games specifically the Norse mythology ones but the actor who plays teal'c awesome voices kratos in God of war
