My 2010s movie pick

Movie length: 2h01m18s

Oh boy is Benicio del Toro magnetic or what?!

For most of the movie, I wasn't sure exactly what was happening, but the ending all made so much sense! It'll be fun rewatching this one with more knowledge 😁

I really enjoyed this one!

For this style of reaction, you need your own copy to watch the movie.  You can set picture in picture by right clicking twice on the video and selecting "Picture in picture". The right clicking twice is a bit tricky, because you have to right click, then move your cursor so it's not on the menu, then right click again. You can also hold " ctrl + shift + ] " or control then shift then the ] key on your keyboard when you have a video window active and it will open the pop out

Thank you so much for being here!!

FULL LENGTH REACTION | Sicario (2015) [2026]

You need your own copy of the media to watch along with me though since this is solely my reaction. The video is there so you can have an idea when the scene changes in case you need to sync up, but it is HEAVILY blurred so I don't have any copyright issues. Enjoy!!

I should rewatch. I've seen it once years ago and thought it was really well made although i wasn't overly taken by the story.

I would recommend Day of Soldado, I really liked it, except for 1 part and I won't say what part, to keep you going in open minded. If that makes sense? 🤔

Coire

I never thought of this till now but this is basically a sequel to No Country for No Men

To answer your query at the end: How can people do terrible things to families when they have families? Criminal lives are built on trauma and in order to circumvent the trauma they compartmentalize, they put the trauma in a little box, they put their families in a little box, their wife, their children, their friends, everything. They unconsciously wall aspects of themselves away so they can survive the trauma they live everyday. But (much like Voldemort splitting his soul into horcruxes) they are walling their humanity away. Within every box they can be a different person while maintain their homicidal external self.

This film felt like a Benicio aura farm with the cartel as a back drop 😁
