The Gods and their experiments 😨

I love the concept, it's so fascinating!!

For this style of reaction, you need your own copy to watch the movie.  You can set picture in picture by right clicking twice on the video and selecting "Picture in picture". The right clicking twice is a bit tricky, because you have to right click, then move your cursor so it's not on the menu, then right click again

Thank you so much everyone for your support, you are the best!!

FULL LENGTH - Stargate SG-1 Season 1 Episode 8 - Brief Candle

You need your own copy of the media to watch along with me though since this is solely my reaction. The video is there so you can have an idea when the scene changes in case you need to sync up, but it is HEAVILY blurred so I don't have any copyright issues. Enjoy!!

Yeah the Goa'uld are very creative in finding ways to screw people over, but shortening someone's life to a small number of days is particularly cruel. Thank goodness that one didn't spread back to Earth! Another world saved thanks to the winning combination of Mr Teal'c and modern medicine/science 😄 Experimenting on "lower life forms" to try to benefit your own kind is something we humans can be very guilty of ourselves unfortunately. Testing drugs on animals to try to save human lives comes to mind which is always a difficult moral conundrum to wrestle with.

Ugly Sonic

In the previous episode The Nox the head Nox was played by Armen Shimerman who played a main character in Star Trek Deep Space Nine. He also just shows up in a bunch of stuff like I just saw him in Buffy The Vampire Slayer because I've been rewatching it. Don S Davis(General Hammond) played Agent Scully's father in The X-Files. And so many more to come.

I love how you recognized them! It usually takes me a long time to start recognizing actors in small roles throughout different series. Then again... maybe not, since I recognize actors from House a lot 🤔 Those are all shows that I want to get to!!!

On the only bright side, if 100 days is the only thing they know, at least it's not cruel to them. Imagine if it made it back to earth! That would reduce the threat of overpopulation 😅 Humans are definitely not the best example at how to treat others with kindness. That's why I love all of these "what if" stories. It's definitely different when it's happening to us, as opposed to us doing it to others. Empathy is not a mandatory trait for humans 😨
