Hey friends!!! We're finishing the Mortis arc today (sadly, since it's the best arc, and I wish we could see more of it!)

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anakin saw his future!!!  And he hated how much pain he caused.  Anakin's story is just so devastatingly sad.

Speaking of sad, I really wished he kept those memories.  Stupid father.

However, Anakin brought balance to the force 🤩 That means he brings balance to the force twice in his life.  I don't think anyone else can say they've done that lol

I really appreciate and enjoy Obi-wan and Ahsoka's relationship.  They get along so well and sometimes bicker, but other times, they just appreciate the other.  It's adorable.

Honestly, this arc deserves a rewatch, it was simply amazing.

For this style of reaction, you need your own copy to watch the episode.  Also know there is an extension that allows you to do Picture-in-Picture in case you are interested: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/picture-in-picture-extens/hkgfoiooedgoejojocmhlaklaeopbecg?hl=en

I feel bad for the next arc, since there's no way it can live up to the amazement of this one, right?

Full Length - CLONE WARS Episode 317 - Ghosts of Mortis (062)

CLONES WARS episode 317! You DO need your own copy of the movie to watch along with me though since this is solely my reaction. I did use the extended edition, but I won't be doing extended editions in the future, I don't think. The video is there so you can have an idea when the scene changes in case you need to sync up, but it is HEAVILY blurred so I don't have any copyright issues. Enjoy!!

Don't worry about Clone Wars getting worse from here, it really doesn't. :D

What I find ironic, is that Anakin falls to the Dark Side in this episode the same way he does in Revenge in the Sith. He is shown a dark future and works with a Dark Sider to try to avert it. In this, he joins the Son to prevent him becoming Vader. In Episode 3, he joins Sidious to stop Padme dying. So he is doomed to fail in a way. He does the same thing here he does later.

My favorite eps are the ones where Obi, Ani, and Ahsoka are all together. We need more and more of these. This arc was amazing. It brought a new wrinkle to the force that I don't completely understand, which is cool. I like it when the force is mysterious and mystical. That's how I felt about it when Yoda first explained it to us on Dagobah, like the force is just out of reach of understanding, but still attainable. Great stuff. Glad you loved the arc, that is one that every Clone Wars fan looks forward to.

I loved the first two seasons, and now this one has just made it better. I can't imagine how epic the rest will be lol

At least it shows that his character is consistent lol If it wasn't for his vision of Padme dying, he could have been saved!

Yes! All three together are the best. I agree, the force being mysterious and mystical is what it's all about, people use it in different wars, and I'm glad we get to see it. It's not just Jedi this, Sith that, there is just so much more, and it's really neat to see what other factions do with the force (like the witches, they used it in a very different way!)

This arc alone also explicitly ends the debate of who was the actual “Chosen One”. While Luke, and to a lesser extent, Rey, made their own significant contributions to the overall story, and some argument can be made of them being “chosen“, here, we learn that when it comes to the title/designation, it is Anakin.

Anakin is definitely the chosen one. No contest! And such a tragic story at that!
