Hello everybody!!!

AAAAAaaaaaahhhhhhh!!

TARKIN!!!

I wasn't expecting to see him, but it does make sense why he's so high up in the Empire ranks, since he clearly knows Palpatine.  Dammit Tarkin, I don't like you.  Though I like how Anakin speaks his mind and sneers at him 🤩

I absolutely love how Ahsoka has clearly been trained by Anakin, seeing as she doesn't like to listen to orders 🤣 And Master Plo coming in clutch (though I don't know if he did tell her to join, or if that's the excuse she's using).

R2, being the commander of the battle droids 😁 I want more converted battle droids now!!

I just have to say that I am thoroughly enjoying Clone Wars.  I have no idea what each arc has in store for me, and it's always just so satisfying!

For this style of reaction, you need your own copy to watch the episode.  Also know there is an extension that allows you to do Picture-in-Picture in case you are interested: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/picture-in-picture-extens/hkgfoiooedgoejojocmhlaklaeopbecg?hl=en

More Obi-Wan, Anakin and Ahsoka next episode!!! (And Tarkin, I guess 😒)

Full Length - CLONE WARS Episode 318 - The Citadel (063)

CLONES WARS episode 318! You DO need your own copy of the movie to watch along with me though since this is solely my reaction. I did use the extended edition, but I won't be doing extended editions in the future, I don't think. The video is there so you can have an idea when the scene changes in case you need to sync up, but it is HEAVILY blurred so I don't have any copyright issues. Enjoy!!

The Ahsoka conversation about deciding when to risk her life is interesting because in this moment its directed at Anakin, but you can easily substitute the jedi order and that's basically how Anakin rolls. She really learns a lot from him. That Tarkin reaction was great. Obviously if you think about it, it makes total sense for him to be relatively high up in the Republic to be where he is in the original trilogy but you were never thinking "hmm I wonder if Tarkin ever shows up in this show?". His dialogue with Anakin is always interesting and they're a very interesting duo even back in this time period. Not sure if you caught the joke about the wall decoration, it seemed like it might've sparked some thought in the moment. They went through carbon freezing, which is the same thing Jabba did to Han and then hung him on the wall as a trophy, so the line about not wanting to be stuck in carbon and being a wall decoration was a little joke/nod to that part of the originals.

Ahsoka really does learn so much from Anakin, and it's just so nice to see him having to deal with himself basically 🤣 It does make perfect sense that Tarkin is high up in the Republic, but he came out of nowhere! An unpleasant surprise, that's for sure. Yeah I got the wall decoration bit, I love when they do things like that. Basically being able to write history when they know the future lends itself to references and callbacks, which is really fun to see! :D

Haha I would have definitely loved to get some narrated monologue of Anakin's thoughts during that slow head turn when he realized Ahsoka snuck onto the mission. I'm glad you recognized Fives and Echo without their names being mentioned. A good handful of clones can be recognized visually

The slow head turn was perfect!!! I love little gestures like that, it just adds so much 🤣 I love seeing Fives and Echo, definitely don't see enough of them!!
