It's time for a Christmas classic!!

I finally get why everyone loves this movie 🥰

The physical comedy of the 80s/90s was just such a really fun time.  I grew up watching Bugs Bunny so violent comedy is quite normal 😅

I've seen a lot of people ask about Home Alone 2 already, and I think I may just have to, though it'll have to wait until next year.

I was not expecting to enjoy the movie this much, and the fact that there are some nice lessons to learn is a huge bonus!

P.S I love this onesie 😍

Thank you everyone for your continued support <3

FULL LENGTH REACTION | Home Alone (1990) [2023]

Reminder that you need your own copy of the movie to watch along with me since this is solely my reaction. The video is there so you can have an idea when the scene changes in case you need to sync up, but it is HEAVILY blurred so I don't have any copyright issues. Enjoy!!

Home alone 1 and 2 are the only ones you need to worry about, the others don’t exist. The little guy with the glasses (Fuller) is one of Macaulay Culkin’s real life brothers.

Could not agree more King. There are only 2 Home Alone movies and only 3 Indiana Jones movies.

Ah, my mistake, I'm not sure how I thought there were 6 Home Alone movies, when there are only 2. I must have imagined them 🤣

Billy Dancel

So very fitting that we’re watching this after seeing Macaulay Culkin getting his ⭐️ on the Walk of Fame! Catherine O’Hara, Kevin’s Mom, was there for him and we got a wonderful then and now picture of them. We have two Harry Potter connections, John Williams and Director, Chris Columbus!

Zach Zeegen

I would watch Home Alone 2 after this, but I wouldn’t watch the ones after that. It’s not even Macaulay Culkin playing the kid anymore in the third one. Also, it’s not even Kevin and his family after the second movie. It’s just a completely different family.

William Fortner

Just curious do you know who John Candy is? When he show up at the polka band leader you did not say "hey that John Candy." Enjoyed your reaction

Next up: "Violent Night" (2022) w/ David Harbour; chock full of Home Alone references Nicomund der Rott uber alles 😉

Perfect timing!! I've since watched him and Catherine O'Hara at his ceremony, and it's just so heart warming!!

I know the name and that he's Canadian. That's it. A lot of people my age know who he is, so clearly I missed some stuff that he was in when I was growing up lol

Great onesie. I love reaction channels for two reasons, firstly I get to rewatch my favourite movies in a somewhat accompanied way, and see how someone else responds to it, sometimes spotting something I may have missed myself, and secondly, it gives me a reason to watch a movie I would ordinarily not choose to watch. This movie falls into the latter. Sadly, this one just reinforced all of my presumptions as to why I wouldn’t enjoy it. I certainly didn’t hate it, but 10 minutes enjoyment in a 100 minute runtime is not a good ratio. I did enjoy the scene in the church with the neighbour, a very short segment of the burglars’ assault on the house and the end scene. Based on how well loved this movie is, I must be missing something, but I guess that’s art is it not, people like different things. Therefore I always try to choose my language accordingly, such as a movie is not bad, just something I personally don’t like. I’m glad you enjoyed this one though. Anyway, I will do my best to maintain an open mind when going into other movies I’ve chosen to not watch before.

That means you have never seen Uncle Buck (duh and his other stuff) but never seen Space Balls by Mel Brooks either! You are a star wars fan and will love it in the same way Star Trek fans love Galaxy Quest. May the Swartz be with you. :)

Space Balls is one that's will be watched early in 2024. It didn't do very well in the parody poll which surprised me, but then again, Galaxy Quest is a masterpiece so it makes sense why that one won :D

"Family movies" and "Comedies" are movies that I go in with a very different mindset than, say a thriller. I expect it to be silly and have a focus on children. I will say, if the movie had all the kids for more scenes, I would have started to really dislike the movie, but thankfully they all left 🤣 I completely get not liking this movie, and like you said, it's subjective. It's great to see that you acknowledge that and are fine with people liking different movies.

The burglars in "Home Alone" got off easy compared to what the little girl does to the home invaders in "Violent Night" 😉
