The Shelved By Genre crew thought about The Animatrix for ten seconds and then decided to record a podcast episode about it. This is not an SBG bonus episode. It's just a patreon exclusive. If you want to make sure it shows up in a podcatcher of your choice, make sure you add the Ranged Touch Monthly feed to your podcatcher.

There will be additional, random Bonus Bonuses in the future.

Un-jonesing happens in Enter The Matrix to a swat member. He later says "I don't know how I got here" and it's funny to me.

Well since someone needs to say it, the other reason Trinity is so cool is because she's a fully self actualized trans woman out there kicking ass. And kinda like Austin's allowance, I'm not even bothered about (presumed) cis actors playing us in The Matrix because they capture the experience so well and make us look cool as hell.

You gotta watch the Sopranos and Redline in the same period and hold them in conversation.

Confession: in high school a girl let me borrow a DVD copy of The Animatrix. The DVD broke in my backpack. Instead of fessing up, I continued to make up excuses for why I hadn't watched it yet until she eventually forgot I had it. A few months later, I found out she died of brain cancer and I've never felt like more of a piece of shit. I still haven't seen this movie, but probably should!

I'm a biased millennial, but... I'd give a big listen to Millennial Cool.

Austin describing his feelings about sleep and work and time at the end of this episode is really appropriate because of how dystopian what he's describing is
