PSA: Do NOT use the IOS App (Patreon)

I'm not sure if you guys received an email from patreon yet, BUT for those who are out of the loop, Apple is charging this platform 30% tax to stay on their app store

What does this mean for us?
Starting November 2024,
If you start subscribing to me and/or fellow creators using the IOS App,
there will be an additional 30% charge to the total.

Which is EXTORTIONIST if you ask me

What can be done? If you are subbed using the IOS app, I suggest renewing your sub on desktop or Android before November rolls around if you want to avoid the additional 30% charge
