03:05 No, you can't get away from Cpt. Janeway THAT easy! 😁

Ryan

That's the great Margo Martindale as Morpho, who Mosco is currently watching in Ducktales.

So, we got implied bestiality AND messed-up insect molting. This is a weird show.

Ryan

Quite a pair of JK Simmons characters to be watching at the same time, Stanford Pines and Pig Baby.

The thing about the gross post-war American cooking isn’t that they’re saying these recipes are indicative of most cuisine America, or that they’re something most Americans like to eat. The post-war part is important. Starting in the Great Depression, food became scarce for a lot of families. So they made do with what little ingredients they had, and started making things like water pie. And this...creativity continued post WW2 with many recipes that were similarly designed to ration ingredients frugally. This type of cooking continued to be relatively common through to the 70s, mostly being shared around in magazines, home journals, and cookbooks marketed towards suburban housewives and mothers. And some truly infamous recipes came from this era, like lime jello salad with mayonnaise mixed in. This is what the writers are referencing, they’re not calling all Americans gross or weird in what we eat. Because as ordinary as recipes like this used to be for some families in America, most people hated them even then, because they’re super unappetizing. And they stopped being common altogether from the 80s to present day, only known about now by people who were alive back then. Or people that find this kind of history interesting lol

Min-Gi has issues with admitting he's wrong. They're both stubborn asf and it's frustrating sometimes, but they'll sort it out, eventually

this isn’t IT related but idk where to submit suggestions and I think you’d like CentaurWorld it’s a really good really goofy wacky animated show on Netflix it has a really good story and some deep backstories, and it’s a musical, there are a lot of songs it gets a tad annoying sometimes but it’s okay also it has LGBT representation and lots of different body type representation which I love. if there’s someway else to submit suggestions let me know 😅

Take it from someone who hates musicals, Centaur World is good, but it was a very close call for me. If you like musicals, then I would recommend it. It is weird and wacky fun with some horror sprinkled in.
