So one small note about that kiss. All I'm saying if it was a show aimed at adults specifically that would have ended in a totally different place. What I mean is: TDP + 18+ content= Vox Machina. (Mainly the um... ,,Later Talk"😳, also Laura you mad genius with your improv)

Phoenix_mercury

Seeing this after seeing VM 3x3 is hilarious timing

Under one of the videos (I think it was the ,,Table to Screne" about well... this), I saw a comment about a ,,Bathtub" bit so I curiously (and unknowingly) searched it up. Well... I want to see it get animated SOO badly. One question: How in the name of the Gods does she come up with things like? On a whim non the less!

Andy

As I understand the arrest and all that, those were the prince's demands which Ez had to agree to in order to avoid this battle and to allow any of his soldiers who also object to the war to be allowed to abstain without punishment. Now only those in his kingdom who actually WANT war with Xadia will fight in it

KylarStern1995

Just finished watching it, I think the idea, based on the continent map, is that Kotalis is the human border kingdom to Zadia. So the other armies would have to go through Kotalis to get to Zadia. No leader would march an army through and set up supply lines in territory they weren't in an active alliance with or control outright. The only Kovu I know of is Scars son in the second lion king film. Callum is great in that he dosent, other than the first episode, seem to do things to impress people or scheme particularly. He just does the next thing that seems right to him and goes from there. Loved the boomerang moment. Also for all the shouting at Vieran, he thinks he's right. There is nothing more dangerous then someone who thinks their right.

The Akimbo Knight

Ok ngl had to rewind your reaction to the Bluetooth bug opening Virens eye. Had me cackling for a solid 5 minutes

Nightowl

You kinda stepped on one of Nyx’s lines when they crossed the magical barrier at the oasis (😉): “Anyway, here’s the Wonderwall.”

Andy

I think there was never any intention to attack in the first place. It was a bluff that they knew Ez would back down to avoid

KylarStern1995

Perfectly possible, either way they now have an active alliance in Vieran, though I suspect he will insist on leading.

Nektis Noir

They never properly explain the deal Ezran made in-show and it took a LOT of people having a second watch-through to fully get it. The idea is laid down in Ezrans dialogue right before he lays down the crown. In exchange for Katolis not being attacked and soldiers being allowed to abstain from attacking Xadia if they wish it, Ezran has to give up his spot on the throne and take Virens place in jail. It admittedly pissed me off the first time I watched Book 3 XD

RibKoboldScout

Based on the letter, Ethari knew Callum was human already, but he played along because he was Rayla's friend.

Flufux

Viren was the one who proposed the war to begin with, so when Ezran didn't want to go to war, Prince Kasef basically demanded that they either put Viren back in charge or he'd attack Katalis. Though one thing to remember is that only Viren, Aaravos and the audience know anything about who actually attacked to kings and queens of the other kingdoms, to everyone else, it seems as if the Moonshadow elves did it. That said, Prince Kasef is a bullheaded idiot either way, and yes, you can hate him all you want, we all do.

VIREN'S VA VOICES THE BAKER??? Man you're good at spotting VAs, I've always been terrible at it (other than Alex Hirsch and maybe a couple others)

Catradora fan

Conflicting feelings about Nyx? 😅 "Boomerang! You do always come back!" 😁

Phoenix_mercury

I'm curious to see what that is and how it's animated (I know very little of the campaign)

Parker Siebe

context: Ez abdicated trusting the wrong person and the other prince was threatening him because Katalis is the largest country to border Zadia. Something similar happened in real life during WW1 when Belgium refused to allow the Germans to cross their borders to attack France, even though they were neutral.

RavenFairy

Fan thought after that episode is: Callum is Soka reincarnated and the reason why the world is a bit different is the aftermath of Korra mixing spirits and humans had a major eco effect now having Elves and it’s been 10,000 years since Avatar. That is just a crazy fan theory, I do believe. 😈

LikeCat

It was THAT scene in episode 6. When I realized what will happen next I grinned for like 10 minutes straight. (I was on the bus when I watched it so I had to restrain myself on the emotion front)

Bait doing little biscuits on Ez’s back! I think you were raving about the plot and didn’t notice it.

Edox

I don't know if anyone has told you but you need to read the graphic novel "Through the Moon" between seasons 3 and 4. Maybe you can take a video of yourself reading the graphic novel?

Suplee215

Basically the 3 other kingdoms are not strong enough to fight xadia without the resources of Kalitous. It's a stupid and cruel stragety but it has really life counterparts. There's also the fact that he knows there js a faction in kalitous that disagree with the king. So either Ezra give in to that faction, that faction takes over while Ezra is busy or after his death or imprisonment. It's a ruthless grab for more resources though more so than just wasting their own.

Suplee215

It was standard procedure that when a coup happens the previous ruler gets locked up. What ezra did was give himself up to make a deal that citizens of the kingdom who don't want to go to war don't have to.

Bug Catcher Jacky

I don't know how you managed to butcher 'Katolis' this badly, but man did it make my day xD

Bug Catcher Jacky

And Aravos was meant to be the avatar of their time! Lol

Bug Catcher Jacky

I would be surprised if anyone actually didn't know lol

Suplee215

I tried to follow English rules for spelling.

Bailey

The entire time I've been watching through these reactions I've been waiting specifically for your reaction to the Avatar reference in this episode. Idk why, but that joke specifically stuck with me since I saw it lmao
