One Eternity later 😢. Also tell me why when I was reacting to this episode I asked my friend if there was like 3 more episodes that copium was hitting 😭. Also also I'm glad that ginger headed ***** got what she deserved idc for CaitVi but when it comes to using ppl who are vulnerable hell nah don't do that

Rainbow Moth

I'm the dirt under your nails, cupcake. Nothing's ever gonna clean me out.

SauceyRed

Holy shit timing couldn’t be better, just got home with snacks and BK

Andy

Cupcake really taking after Grandma Matilda these days 👁🏴‍☠️

Dani

It was hard to notice but there's a cross on Caitlyn's eye in the intro. That's what you missed

Jenna

If it makes you feel better it's Caitlyn's LEFT eye, which she seems to sometimes close while shooting (irl most snipers keep both eyes open, but in media it's more common to close one). So in the world of Arcane she should still be able to shoot just fine.

Florena Emberlin

Don't be too hard on Maddie. Yes she was a traitor. But at the end of the day....she took a bullet for Caitlyn. :D

Meri2700

I already said this in the community section but I'm putting it here again: Maybe I'm delulu but at the end when it says "THE END" there is a 3 "TH3 END", and we know that what they put in this series is for a reason, so is there a possible 3rd season? Knowing that there are still things to tell and that Cait also says at the end "our story isn't over". Which is a little sus 7w7 Also, if I remember correctly, there are still champions from the Zaun and Piltover regions that have not yet been shown to us uwu (I also think Jinx is still alive, if Caitlyn finds out, narratively speaking there are reasons for our "Piltover's Finest" duo to continue their story and go looking for her. I'm not going to hide that I need more of these two, I'm emotionally dependent on them X'D)

Shay

I think the beast was able to attack without Viktor because it's just an animal, Vander was the part that died and was being controlled, so it was probably just reacting on instinct

Bazil

Maddie 'your pussy was dank, now eat this point blank' Nolen

Florena Emberlin

During Ambessa and Mel's sparring, Abmessa talked about the 4th and greatest pillar being sacrifice. When Caitlyn couldn't defeat her through might...she had to sacrifice her eye.

Rime Pendragon

Not gonna lie, the constant pausing is a bit annoying.

Nightley

Good catch with the airship, yeah, it is believed that Jinx is on that ship for the same reasons. And the other clue is the shimmer line flying away from the explosion.

FullmetalNinja25

In League Of Legends canon Caitlyn has a Hextech eye so she won't be without a left eye for long.

Ryan

Elijah s2e1: "Maddie is a precious bean and if anything happens to her I will kill everyone in this room." Elijah s2e9: "MATARÉ YO MISMO, PUTA!" The crows always showed up in season one at moments of fate... there are still hex-tech gemstones in the world. What a season. I can't wait to do a rewatch. And I can't wait to see the Sapphic disaster of you and Mosco co-reacting to all the CaitVi scenes. Go bake some cupcakes.

Florena Emberlin

If you look closely at the explosion you can see a pink shimmer line zooming away from it, but it is quick and easy to miss.

Solus

I still think they could have made one more episode to show how the characters are dealing with the aftermath of the conflict, to me it felt rushed, like Isha and Heimerdinger were never mentioned again just one example and yes I get the burning of the paper with probably their names are a part of that but it could have been a little more direct with it, I feel like they tried to cram in as much as they could in the last three episodes, don't get me wrong I loved this show, but I stand by that one more episode would have been a better finale for the show, again just my opinion, not gonna lie, I wanna see an Ahri story in this world, but we will see what they have planned for us in the future, now if yaw will excuse me, I am gonna go play some Wild Rift now.

cipher

Ya so Jinx is almost certainly alive you. You got both Caitlyn looking at the ducts as a escape route, and the airship at the end being a literal frame for frame copy of the airship from episode one where powder says "One day I'm going to ride one of those". Go back to the explosion scene and run though it at the slowest speed netflix will let you. You will see a pink line move out from the explosion and into a ducts very fast it's like literally 3 or 4 frames. Jinx does not want to be found. She wants to stop the cycle. For that she needs to walk away she can't to that here so she needs to leave. She can't let vi know though because to quote jinx "You're never going to give up on me" vi needs to let go but she can't so Jinx is not going to give her a choice. Something like this was always her plan. "I'm always with you. **Even when we're world apart**" EDIT: Also watch this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S0RJSOuBS6s Time stamp of 1:15 The cast totally doge the question of is Jinx dead.

Dmen Realm

Wanna talk about parallels, look back at Smeech and his talk about "long ranged types" and see which eye he is pointing his finger at.

Thunter

I honestly would’ve liked to have more build up to things. Might be because I know this is the last season for this story, but yes I am one of the few people that think the pacing was a little quick 😅 Still amazing season though, thank you for another great reaction!

Shio no Kami

Singed's daughter is Orianna, and like you said, she is also a champion from the game. Though she does look a bit different here.

Hail

If you go frame by frame with Maddie shooting Cait, you'll see that there was a smile in the black and white frame of it which meant she was enjoying the fact that she was about to kill Cait. They said it was because Mel is an empath with her powers so she could see what people actually feel and this was how it was showed to us what Maddie was thinking as she pulled the trigger. There, another reason to hate on this ginger 😂

.

Someone already mentioned it but before the explosion, there is a dash of pink zooming from the scene towards the vents. Hence why Caitlyn is looking at the vent, realizing there was an escape for Jinx. And at the end you see an airship leaving Piltover. Powder said she'd ride on one of those someday. :) And following Silco's advice, she walks away, breaking the cycle of killing. Also, if you slow down the scene where Maddie tries to shoot Caitlyn, before she shoots, you can see a frame of her with a Cheshire cat smile. Creepy.

Nia

elijah how are you such a genius omlllll

Kaykic

Does Elijah have a type? Of course no- Mel from 'Arcane' Hot Sunfire Elf (who's name is yet to be revealed) From 'The Dragon Prince' ....nope, not at all.....

Bazil

If it makes you feel any better, the eye Cait lost is her non dominant one. She doesn't use it for shooting.

SharkMessiah101

Take a look at the moments before the explosin, you can see a violet streak rushing away from the explosion and into an air duct. Jinx is alive and on that air ship towards a place that I cannot say cause spoilers but I have a feeling that Mel and Jinx will be the stars of upcoming series so we'll be seeing them again

Syn

You forgot cinder in rwby, who she simps for even more than I do

Hyrule Postman

Jinx is definitely alive at the end. You can see her shimmer speed pink light at the start of the explosion at the Hexgate, going toward some pipes that Cait later look at on the computer being water and ventilation. Ekko also mention in ep 3 that " these pipes are connected to our water and ventilation systeme" at the Firelight Hideout, which now is my theory that she end up at the Firelight Hideout, maybe find Ekko there and Timebomb ship can still be real in this universe if they can give each other a second chance (thanks Silco). Whose coping? Not me, no sir/ma'am/pronoun of your choice. And yes, she is most definitely on the Airship at the end, but still, i'm holding on to my theory.

Rachel Mae

I understand the gut instinct to be upset about Cait losing the eye but aside from it not being her dominant eye I do think it’s important to take a step back reevaluate bc even if it was her dominant eye, Cait made the choice to make that sacrifice and like 5 minutes later in the ep Jayce is telling Viktor that there’s beauty in imperfection and his illness and disability isn’t something that needs to be fixed. The same applies to Caitlyn

polkiol

By watching the reaction, I think I realize why they succeed in preventing the future. We all know it's because of Ekko. But why ? Why this time and not in the future Jayce saw ? During the scene where Viktor see the promise between old Viktor and Jayce, old Viktor said that he tried differents timeline, and each time, it is shown that he gave Jayce a different rune. In Episode 7, the reason they succeed in creating Ekko's device is because of the rune. He said that he "was playing with Jayce inversion rune". So in my opinion, in every other timeline, Ekko never succeed in coming back from this dimension because the rune they got was not the right one. I don't know if that make sense but I like this theory.

Bazil

'She is on that. Jinx is not dead. She is on that' - Elijah saying as she gets carted off to a mental asylum

Luke Teasdale

the airship is also tagged in her colours, a nice bright blue stripe along the side.

Luke Teasdale

yep jinx is deffo on that airship, probably heading to demacia where she could meet Lux "Manifesting" XD Seriosly tho Pirate Jinx Spin off when...

Phoenix_mercury

its also bcz shes a sniper so is gonna have to have time to adjust

SauceyRed

I'm slightly disappointed Jinx is heavily hinted to be alive, takes a bit away from the beautiful moment where she sacrifices herself to save Vi, and chooses to let everything behind through death, finally at peace. Didn't interpret the thing about Jinx being on the airship, but I guess it'd make sense, going somewhere far away to try to start a new life.

Rachel Mae

Of course any injury is going to take time to adjust to but like I (and some others) mentioned the eye she lost wasn’t her dominant one. It’s a thing even for folks who aren’t expert marksmen. It’s kinda neat to see how it works once you figure out which eye is your dominant one

Jim Bruening

Vi with her soulmate after a life of waking nightmare. Pure catharsis.

Ro_Stock

i think your completely right with Jinx beeing on that ship. If u also stop at the right moment u see like a line of shimmer escaping from the explosion :)

Jasmine King

While you were slowing down the jinx explosion scene, you actually paused on a streak of purple that exits the area of explosion *before* the actual explosion. I'm pretty sure that is jinx leaving a tracer of purple from her shimmer eyes like when she moves at super speed.

Katelyn Benroth

The fact that Maddie had the bomb before anyone else and you can see the nail was specifically placed to block the gears

Hjordis

with this reaction, i really have to accept arcane is over now...

MrDrzevs

A good ending for a wonderful journey.

Sam Pamenter

I want to share my take on caitlyn losing her eye. As devastating as it is, i think it’s essential to her redemption arc. I know there’s people who wish she said more but her actions speak tenfold in my opinion. She put her all into fighting ambessa and yes it seems like ambessa slashed her eye but caitlyn moves the blade and leans forward to make the sacrifice to get the runes off ambessa. She needed to fully put herself on the line for everyone for her redemption. I wouldn’t change a thing about it her and mel were the best parts of this finale.

Zemajick

Really brings Viktor's quote from s1 into new context 'if you're going to change the world, don't ask for permission'

EDWin qaz

Elijah, i would like you to check out Swain because you saw the raven trying to pick something from jayce’s hammer and was also going with Mel in a Noxus ship

David Johnson

You know, I think that "artillery" they were firing was repurposed Hextech cargo moving equipment.

LikeCat

Taking what Silco told her in the cell: ,,Jynx... I think you can only break the cycle, if you walk away" and really DOING it. No justifing her actions and just staying with Vi and such. And with Vi thinking she is dead, she will not try to find her. She (Jynx) can find herself ,,on her own". (Which she needs and deserves after all the shit she has been through)

LikeCat

She and basically all of the Arcane fandom. XD (But seriously she HAS to be there)

LikeCat

Not a RWBY reaction but I'm puting this out there: There will be a character later in Volume 2 who I simp for just as much as Elijah simps for Cinder. (I basically know every line that this character says)

Rando

Cait definitely rocks the eyepatch and i appreciate the symbolic nature of her injury, but it would not surprise me if Ekko builds her a mechanical eye at some point

K_How

You don't need your other eye to look down sights when sniping. Sure she'll lose some peripheral vision and some depth perception. But Caitlyn should be able to still snipe.

Katelyn Benroth

Uhhhhh I’m very surprised she didn’t notice the jinx shimmer trail during her “death”

Godzelda

Either way it's gonna affect her. And as much as I love Cait, it's a fair punishment for how far she had gone to hunt down Jinx

Linx

The crow at the end represents a character in a game, and we all know who it is, crows don't have 6 eyes, even in that world.

Rime Pendragon

Oh, I watch plenty of reactions (Blindwave, Reel Rejects, the Normies, Natalie Gold) and this is the only one I came across with pausing during the episodes.

Sheriff Kiramman

Caitlyn can still shoot. Although her depth perception will be different, her dominant eye (which she uses for sniping) is still working. Some snipers in real life can still shoot properly with one dominant eye. It may take some time to adjust but it is possible. And yes, I'm 99.99% sure that Jinx is still alive. There are many hints towards the end: 1.) Shimmer trail going to the vents when Jinx and Warwick exploded 2.) Caitlyn studying the Hexgates blueprint and finding out that there are vents where Jinx exploded all while she's holding on the Jinx's monkey bomb (also possibly hinting they didn't find her dead body) 3.) The glitching "The End" text effect. There are also theories that she rode the flying airship in the end which is also a callback to what she said in S1 Ep1 that she's going to ride one of those things someday Since Riot announced that there will be new shows in other regions of Runeterra, I'm not surprised if Jinx will pop up in one of these shows :)

Shaya Sims

also christian (writer) just said “duh” to someone asking if we’ll see caitvi again !!!

Shaya Sims

jinx killed her mom lol just btw ..

jessie H

I wish Viktor had turned everyone back to normal, brought Vander back, give Jinx and Vi a chance to be happy! Like Viktor stops what he’s doing, but doesn’t think to turn all his creepy dolls and Vander back to normal? Nooo!!

Vivian

I thought it was terribly clever of me to think this (before i wrote it down) but, Caitlyn could have lost Vi, instead she just lost an eye 👁 Sorry... I'm gonna go now... 🥲😂

Godzelda

It would have been worse if she had died for real. Ekko just talked her out of killing herself, only for her to kill herself anyway by the end. With this ending she kills the idea of Jinx, which is what she's been trying to do all season. Like in episode 4 when she says "Jinx is dead".

Landstander0516

This show was a masterwork from start to finish, and a treasure trove for those of use looking to better understand the art of story craft. The writers, producers, animators and voice talent brought something truly amazing to life with this show, and I'm looking forward to whatever they do next.

Liam Gradwell

We won the CaitVi ship! The war was very powerful and there were a few scars along the way, but we finally got there. 🥳🎉 Thank you so much Amanda and the cast and crew for this show the greatest it can be! Will always love Arcane forever. ❤️🌈👏🧁

Suplee215

About to watch now. Just want to say it think a great genius of this show is how different and fun everyone's different reactions are. You did a great job too. Always something to talk about with this show. And yea that opening scene is so freaking powerful. Ekko literally has a chance to find the right words in that situation. Just damn

NamelessSoul

It has been an absolute blast seeing your reactions. I am so sad to see Arcane end but I do have hope for the future shows. Also Jinx is 100% alive.

John

Loved your reactions since She-Ra, you have the most emotional and passionate reactions. Wishing you happiness and joy <3

Bailey

I choose to believe this and I don't care if the writers themselves say that she's gone lmao.

ais

none of the people she gassed and terrorized did though lol just btw ..

PickettsChargingPort

I assume it’s been pointed out but the loss of Cait’s eye doesn’t hurt her too much as a sniper. She still has the eye she shoots with. Some people even wear an eye patch or cover the shooting glass’s off eye with something opaque.

KG

As a red blooded lesbian who adores CaitVi, I really appreciate how cathartic it's been to watch you lose your shit over them. I laughed so much at your genuine joy/disbelief/meltdowns. I loved the game day play-by-play we got of the first kiss. So incredible and pure.

Cvspartan

I really really really hope CaitVi's journey continues in the next show 🫠 Regardless, Arcane was a masterpiece to me. The characters, the animation, the soundtrack, the voice acting, the story - all incredible.

Puddingz

Some say the glass Vi was holding at the end was Vander's.

Phoenix_mercury

It's all but confirmed that she's alive, the shimmer trail mid explosion dashing off, Cait looking over the vents whilst holding the head of a monkey, the Jinx font at the end, the blimp/balloon flying away(1st episode she says one day she's gonna ride of them)

Henry

52:24 what did she say?
